Stayed here with a large group and all were impressed. Clean and modern. Spacious rooms. Excellent wifi. Lovely bedding. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Pool and sauna next door. Bus stop outside to get into city centre (number 14). Restaurants can be found by walking left from hostel and left again at side of the pool. Small 24 hour supermarket by... More

Our school group stayed at the Hostel for 4 nights and found that the hostel was welcoming & warm with great amenities. Plenty of comfortable seating areas to relax and facilities in the rooms were perfect. The hostel is within easy walking distance to the nearby open air pool and other points of interests. Well recommended for any size of... More

I stayed here for one night and found it to be a good base for Reykjavik. I had a car and found it easy to get to but there is a bus-stop right outside if you want to use public transport. I had a twin room and was surprised how big it was with a big bathroom too. The hostel... More

I had never stayed at a hostel before and I was surprised at how much fun it was ! I stayed in a 6-people women only dorm and my bed was comfy, the linens were of quality and the room was very clean. The staff is very helpful and nice. Alina and Heida went out of their way to help... More

Had a one night stay that I was able to book last minute with ease. Well run and maintained hostel. Good location within a short driving distance of the downtown. Friendly staff who are helpful. Nice and large and relaxing amenity space. Clean rooms and relatively nice washroom and shower facilities.

For a budget accommodation it met the mark. The rooms are tight on space but that is expected within the city. The beds were comfortable, the private bath was nice and it gave us all that we required for a restful night after a long flight. They are very strict on the 2:00 pm check-in but did offer our common... More

Very large and Eco friendly hostel just outside of the downtown center of Reykjavik. Often booked, do call/book well in advance. Stayed in a mixed 6 person dorm, which was perfectly adequate. Plenty of space and surfaces, cubbies for small items. The bed itself was perfectly adequate. The facilities I believe are the real draw. The guest kitchen was very... More

Clean, v good facilities. Really helpful staff. Decent bed. Decent breakfast. Also has kitchenette I think. Can leave your things in the luggage room or hire a locker. Free wifi. Eco-friendly. Uses natural water source for hot water so it does stink of sulphur. On the no. 14 bus route from the city. Next door from the swimming pool. Or... More

We stayed here in a 4 bed dorm and ended up with really lovely people to share a room with that we made very good friends with. The room was a good size, had its own toilet, shower, sink area, table and chairs. It was very clean in all areas especially the kitchen which we were very impressed with (it's... More

The hostel offers a friendly staff and clean, spartan rooms. Private rooms have a bathroom with shower. Some shared rooms have their own bathrooms, while others don't. Shared rooms have great little charging stations near each bed, while private rooms do not. Outlets in private rooms are not near the bed, and make charging less convenient. Bathrooms are designed with... More
