I can't possibly say this strong enough. This is an awful place to stay. Perhaps if you're 18, don't mind bad service, horrible hotel rooms, noise and broken beds then fine. No one was there when we turned up even though we had said what time we were coming. We waited for 30 minutes, called the phone, searched the hotel,...

There's a reason why the pricing on this hotel is very low-- it's a very basic hotel. This worked out for my group as we were out and about for most of the days anyways and just needed a room to sleep and shower. We arrived early and the front desk was able to get us our rooms early. Upon...

We have just come back from staying here for 4 nights. Reading all the reviews from previous people I was a little anxious on what to expect. However I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is basic (isn't no Hilton) but it is all you need for lapping up the sights of Iceland. We stayed with an infant too and they...

like 5 minutes walking to the center, very basic, we had tv, didnt have breakfast included but for the price you can get the same outside. Iceland is very expensive and this hotel was a bargain so couldnt be happier. Clean and warm room.

Firstly, the water in the bathroom is spring water and is quite smelly which makes the whole room smell. We noticed that room service opened the bedroom window everyday to attempt to air out the room, however in the middle of March when there's snow on the ground the last thing you want to come back to is a freezing...

A friend and I had a reservation for a week and we only stayed 1 night. When we arrived there was no one at the reception. We waited for 20-30 minutes until the receptionist opened the door. We got a tiny room (supposed to be a double room), dirty pillows and an old TV. The worse part was the humidity...

This hotel could have easily gotten a 4-5 star rating from me. Front desk Staff goes above and beyond...even woke us up for a tour when we overslept. Always ready to answer questions. And even willing to make calls for you when you can't speak Icelandic. Really amazing customer service. But the rooms are atrocious. Peeling paint, small rooms, water...

Booked this hotel ( said in the loosest possible terms) through Wowcher as an anniversary treat . What an utter disappointment Arrived to find no staff and our key left on the desk in reception , when I say reception , I mean a desk at the end of a small barren hall , furnished with a dirty couch ,...

Arrived and no staff were here to greet us. Key was just left sitting on desk in reception. The hotel is more of a hostel than a hotel. There is one lift that when you use you fear for your life as it's the most unsafe/unsteady lift I have ever seen in my life. The rooms have next to nothing...

My girlfriend an i booked a room to stay here in march, and unfortunatly her grandmother passed away a few days ago and the funeral is during our stay. We emailed the hotel to let them know and to see if they would let us cancel the room for free due to the circumstances we were in. They replied saying...
