Standard rooms are TINY!! Even in a 'twin' room the bads can barely be pushed apart. No room to walk around, no room (except on bed) to unpack cases. It's the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. Paper thin walls, noisy. No free wi-fi - come on it's 2015!!! Cramped bathroom. Considering Iceland are trying to attract 1 million...

Dear Moviegoer97, Thank you for your stay in hotel Cabin. We apologies if the hotel didn't meet you expectations. I agree the rooms are small like our website says but they are fully equipped and include a free breakfast in our budget price. We know that not having free Wi-fi is a flaw and that is why we now offer...

It's was extremely cramped and basic but it did the job. Had the feel of a youth hostel in the middle of an industrial estate.. It's a bit of a trek into the centre of town so expect to have to use expensive taxis. If you are in a budget then it's fine. But don't expect too much!

Dear P H, Thank you for your stay in hotel Cabin. We are glad that you liked the hotel and what it has to offer. I agree it's about a 20 minute walk into the city center but if you don't want to walk than there is a bus stop across the street and it only take 5 minutes to...

Checked room photos on web and the standard rooms at the hotel bare no resemblance. You can hardly walk around bed, no table or chairs let alone dressing table as shown. We almost had to take turns to get dressed because of lack of room. No kettle as promised - extra charge. Front desk staff, specially one particular woman (Carol?)...

We booked 1 twin room. The two twin beds were pushed together as there was no room to have them apart. It was almost impossible to bend over to put on boots as you would bang your backside on the wall. The only hangin space was a rail with five hangers on it. The room was very basic. There was...

I booked this hotel for 3 nights as a Christmas present for my girlfriend and was very disappointed. I upgraded to a deluxe room and even this was very small. I would hate to think how pathetically tiny the regular ones are! The room was very dirty with stains on the carpet. The matresses were far too soft and the...

My family, friends and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Cabin Hotel in Reykjavik. Check in was quick and relatively painless - we had a problem with room allocations initially but this was to do with Low Cost Holidays and their voucher and email system, not the hotel's fault - this was sorted once the...

We have just come back from a 5 night stay in the Hotel Cabin in Reykjavik. The hotel is basic but clean and about a 20 minute walk from the city centre. You can walk along the coast line but it is much longer walk and needless to say colder that way, great to do at least once, but for...

There are 3 options. We booked a basic room and on arrival found that it was smaller than a prison cell. There were 2 single beds with about a foot between them and a foot between the far bed and the wall. There was hardly a foot at the end of the bed. There was no wardrobe and nowhere to...

We booked as part of a package through the daily mail. Location 20 minute walk to the start of the main shopping street, 30 minutes from the bus station and main restaurants. Located in the financial area of Reykjavik. Rooms Very basic fixtures and fittings and rooms quite small, beds very comfy but all rooms are twins with no doubles....
