From start to finish we could not fault this hotel. Staff very welcoming and helpful (rang tour operating company for us to sort out a transfer I had missed) Allowed us to check out 1pm rather than 12 at no extra cost! Breakfast was amazing and could not have possibly provided

Lovely Hotel, very friendly welcoming staff. Iceland can be a bit pricy for eating out but we found the hotel lunch menu in particular was good value for money. Food over all was excellent and very good regarding gluten free meals. Only a 10-15min walk into town. Pick up and

Quick check in. Staff very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay from check in, booking tours and assisting with transport arrangements. The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment, however it was low-key and unobtrusive throughout our four night stay. Might be worthwhile asking

Dear Bentun, Thank you so much for your well detailed and comprehensive review of our hotel. We so appreciate you taking the time to actively write down all your observations and share it with us and our future guests. Your feedback is a great compliment to the staff and the hotel and only makes us strive much harder to provide only the best for our guests with the facilities and services we have. As we refurbish and modernize our classic hotel, our facilities will even be better and more accessible and I do hope that you will give us another opportunity to make your stay even better the next time you stay in Reykjavik. We do after all have the best location being close enough to walk to the city and far enough to get quiet night's sleep. Thank you for your feedback. Warmest Regards, Sonja Guest Relations

Dear Chandi S, thank you for your message. There is unfortunately no swimming pool at our hotel, but very close by, only 5 minutes walk from us you find Vesturbæjarlaug, a local swimming pool. They have great hot pots outside, a great way to relax. You should try this. Kind regards, Team Saga
