Staff is very service oriented. You can book also your trips with them. We had a junior suite which was spacious but als normal rooms are large enough. Rooms are luxuoury and ok. Windows can be opened to let the iceland fresh air in. Prices are very high in iceland especially food but also nearly everything so also in the...

We stayed here in early May for one night. The hotel is quiet, free parking nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a nice restaurant in the lobby with a few other eating options in the nearby area. The area is a business park type area so quiet on the weekends. The hotel breakfast offered some good options. It's...

Rooms are big enough and of great quality. The hotel is not cloe from Reykjavik center but we knew it in advance so not a problem for us and it is not far either. About 8 minutes car ride. The personnel is nice and helpful.

I like big rooms and great service. It was nice and clean. Will come back again. The room was also of a great size and equipped with a comfortable double bed, smart TV and huge bathroom with power shower. All windows and blinds were electrically controlled and had many varied light fixtures

Stayed at the hotel island for five days at the end of March. It's by no means a luxury hotel ,rooms are being refurbished but sadly ours was not one of them. However, the beds were very comfortable, room was spacious and bathroom good. The hotel has a bistro on the ground floor which was fabulous. Tasty meals at reasonable...

Our stay for a long weekend at the Hotel Island was a primary part of our stay in Reykjavik. Having not been on the island for over ten years and having not had a luxury stay when backpacking at that time this experience was something I very much looked forward too. My wife had secured us a superior room with...
