Stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning and end of our 7 day trip around the island. Hotel is conveniently located near the main street of Laugavegur. Location is on a quiet street and though only a couple of blocks away from Laugavegur, it's not right on the busy centre. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean...

Checked in to the hotel with a really efficient front desk and the friendly guy helped us with some directions around town with money exchange / buying groceries/ parking cars and etc. there is free private parking in the hotel grounds, just ask the front desk for the remote control. Rooms are smaller but consider that it is in a...

We spent one night in this Hotel and our room was like a big closet - you couldn't get in or out of the room or move around if you have a case each. It's no wonder that people are turning to AirBnB when you pay such high prices for cramped accommodation as charged in this Hotel. The breakfast is...

This hotel is a good mid-range choice with free convenient parking. We walked into the Centre in about 5 minutes. Check out is 12noon which gave us time to explore a bit before setting out on our journey north. Beds comfortable and breakfast was adequate.

This hotel was our last night before leaving Iceland. The hotel is very centrally located - you can walk to all the important sight in Reykjavik. The staff are really nice and even made us sandwiches because we were leving before breakfast. There are however a number of drawbacks at this hotel: - The room is really tiny - there...

Stayed there for a total of about 5 hours after arriving from the airport and then heading out on an excursion early the next morning. Simple, clean room fit for purpose and all very reasonably priced. Worth differentiating the Fosshotel Lind from the bigger Fosshotel as my taxi went to the wrong one initially.

Hotel is close to the centre in a quiet area. Staff is helpful, but the hotel lacks atmosphere. The room is of a reasonable size and the beds are good. But it is like a monk's cell. Nothing on the wall, colours white: sterile. I was surprised that the shower cabin had curtains instead of doors. To be improved!

This was my last hotel to stay in during my 10 day trip throughout Iceland. It was clean and simple but the bathroom was tiny and the shower was hard to use because it was SOOOO tiny. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable so I was glad I only stayed one night. Nice location (only about a 10 minute...
