Just back from a week stay at the Best Western. Very nice clean hotel, rooms are basic but for the amount of time your really in them it doesn't matter, breakfast in the morning was a wide variety and very tasty. My only complaint would be the walls in the rooms seem to be very thin, could hear pretty much...

We spent three nights at this hotel on short notice booking and found our queen size room barely large enough to stand inside with two standard suitcases. Upgrading to a "Junior Suite" produced a longer room with two additional single beds (like a dormitory). Then, there was only one cushioned chair and one desk chair for sitting. The bathrooms were...

Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was unusual as it was split level with the bed accessed by a spiral stair. It was clean and comfortable. There was a good choice of food for breakfast. The hotel was an easy walk to the main area of Reyjavik.

Good hotel conveniently located near restaurant, few blocks to bus station. Clean and has good breakfast. The only thing is if you come earlier, you really have to wait and they will not let you check in earlier esp since they're always busy. We wish the receptionist can be more accomodating and friendly. Elevator is small.

This hotel took us in on short notice, helping out our original hotel that had a double-booking problem. They never made us feel that they were doing us a favor, though, and were unfailingly helpful and friendly. Our rooms were perfectly adequate and comfortable - a "junior suite" for a family of three, and a single for me, the grandma....

Great location for walking to the main bars and restaurants of the city, also quite close to the cathedral. Free secure parking is always a plus in city locations. Staff were friendly and efficient. We arrived later than usual for breakfast and found choice a bit limited so arrive early would be the recommendation. Our room was one of 4...

Location was easy short walk to stores, restaurants, landmarks, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful, but below US and European standards. Breakfast was excellent. Fine value for money. Room was clean and well appointed. No dresser in rooms, only a very small closet. Big inconvenience; we've never seen that before. Beware unmarked step down from door into parking area; it'...

Okay, so let's get a couple of things out of the way. Yes, the hot water has a strong odour of hydrogen sulphide. Nothing to do with this hotel. The hot water comes from geothermal springs, so the smell happens everywhere you turn on a hot tap. After the first whiff you should be able to get used to it....

Spent 4 nights here. Found the staff friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable. We did need a fan in the window on a warm night, however. Breakfast was included (a nice savings, as food in Iceland is very expensive), and contained a nice hot and cold selection. Do try the skyr. An easy walk to the buses and main...

Good hotel. Central location with good-sized rooms the typical Euro-breakfast was fine. Excellent restaurant next door. The front desk staff are superb The only negative is the room maids aware kind of sloppy At times. Big plus is the WiFi is excellent.
