I stayed here from 8th to 14th January and found it to be a really decent hotel. My room was on the top floor and was spotlessly clean with everything I needed. The beds were comfy and I was able to adjust the temperature of the room to find a comfortable setting for me. The shower was amazing, especially when...

The hotel was ok. There wasnt mych of a bar, the cleaners didnt clean, just made the bed. If you have any rubbish not in the bin they dont take it. The breakfast was all cold every day. I would use this place again if i had to, but i would hunt around first

Stayed here for 3 nights Jan 2017. Quick efficient check in. Not bad reception area with a small bar area. We had room 414,. Quite a decent size room but a bit noisy from the street below. Wouldn't say the room was dirty but not the cleanest either. Because the room was so far from reception there was no wifi....

For us this was a real find. Although not in the centre of town, we found it was very walkable to the main tourist area, the old town, sea front and quite near the Hallgrinskirkja Church (the really tall church on the hill). Lovely quiet location, clean rooms with bath, tea/coffee facilities, TV and easy access good wifi. Staff very...

Total utter disappointment. Filthy rude nickel and dime waste of an entire day. Can't change, shower and luggage if left unattended whilst the staff giggled in the back room. Will never stay or go to Iceland it's a tourist trap euro style.

Old bathroom: a dirty plastic cell like on a cruise ship from the 70ties Beds are old. We ordered a double. But became 2 single beds. "sorry we are fully booked" Don't trust the pictures of the hotel Breakfast was very boring but okay. The staff even didn't say 'good morning' although we stayed 6 nights. WiFi is okay. The...

Iceland is super expensive so this hotel definitely covers the "affordable" aspect compared to others although I wouldn't say the price matches the quality. Apparently half the rooms have been refurbished and half haven't... we clearly had one that hadn't. Everything was pretty old fashioned, the shower was so weak with a less than pleasant shower curtain. Bed was comfortable...

This hotel was perfect! Staff was very helpful with planning tours, directions around the city, suggesting great places to eat. The room was spacious and nice! , overlooking the street. We had a great buffet breakfast each morning with eggs and coffee. Snack area was also nice for late night snacks after searching for those elusive northern lights!

A bit further out, quieter than places located closer to the centre. But very reasonably priced - considering you will perhaps be out and about most of the time, it's a good bet to stay here! We have stayed here a few times and have found the distance no problem as the local tour operators collect and drop off here....
