Our room had all the basics, clean, comfy beds and hot shower. Hotel is located within walking distance to many historic sights, many restaurants, shopping. The desk clerk was very courteous and helpful.

We visited Reykjavík in March, and stayed at this hotel for three nights. Nice clean rooms, great breakfast and decent location just outside of downtown. I would recommend finding a room on the interior (back side) or high up – we were on the ground floor and it was somewhat noisy.

Beds very small but comfortable. All modern amenities incl hairdryer, kettle with tea & coffee, a safe deposit. Only complaint is no shower curtains so be prepared for wet floor after shower. Heating is ample so pretty warm indoors despite chilling cold winds outdoor. We even had to keep one window open to cool things down a bit. Plenty to...

We arrived on the 15.3 with Thomson about 12.30h, Room(109) was ready, modern very good quality furniture, lovely fresh beds, super bathroom , Tea& Coffee facility, peaceful surroundings. All you need when returning after a long day touring Iceland. Breakfast , Continental Style, there is plenty and if you want to avoid the crowds, start a bit earlier. Very friendly...

At the beginning of March, I went to Iceland on a 5 day tour. Our group arrived at the Hotel Klettur at 6am. Check-in was around 3pm but they offered early registration for a small fee, ($21 US) which included breakfast. It may have been a special rate for our group, so please ask. The lobby is small but clean....

We checked in late on our evening of arrival for our first night. There was no-one at the desk when we arrived and when a staff member showed up he was rude and abrupt. He was more interested in chatting up a female member of staff. Breakfast the following morning was chaos. Too many coach trips booked in and trying...

We were here as part of a Gate 1 tour group. The hotel is conveniently located just a couple of blocks from the main business and restaurant street of the city, and just a short walk to the waterfront. The room was comfortable. Two twin beds shoved together. There was a small desk and the bathroom was clean. Not a...

Stayed at hotel Klettur for 4 nights, good location about 5 minute walk to the sea front and same into town. Hotel basic but very clean, the room was cleaned every day with clean towels provided if needed, bed comfortable, room was also nice and warm, the room had a fridge and kettle, only negative comment would be lack of...

Really good hotel, clean and modern with good facilities, friendly staff and close enough to walk to the centre of Reykjavik. Our room was smart and comfortable with all of the essentials. The sole downside was the lack of a view from our window as it only looked onto a courtyard but this didn't detract from the stay.

The hotel lobby is small, not something that will take your breath away but we had a very spacious room with a balcony but no view. It's a nice easy distance to the town centre and harbour. Breakfast is good. Porridge is the only hot breakfast on offer.

Dear Raquel V, Thank you so much for your review and for your stay. It seems like you enjoyed your stay with us :) The location is indeed quite convenient, only a couple minutes walk to the city centre. We are glad to know you liked the decent selection at breakfast. We try to offer something for every one :)...
