This is a nice hotel with a great location for exploring Reykjavik either by foot or by car, since self-parking is easily accessible. On our first visit here, we were early morning walk-ins after a last minute overnight flight from the US. The staff was very nice, and gave us the only available room: a Jr. Suite on the second...

Lovely hotel. Staff go out of their way to help. Trust recommendations for dining out. We received a free upgrade. Happy hour in the bar is a must and actually lasts for 2 hours. The bar is very warm and cosy.

Hotel was booked for us through Secret Escapes and was a good choice. Junior Suite was great with plenty of room. Hotel is older with lots of woodwork and art. You are only few mins walk from main shops restaurants bars. Breakfast included which is great in such an expensive country.

Loving Iceland and loving Hotel Holt. Perfect position for access to the main areas of Reykjavik and staff are lovely as are the Icelandic people. The hotel has a beautiful interior with fabulous art work and comfortable sofas to lounge on which is a must when you have been out in the amazing wilds of this fantastic country. Breakfast sets...

We had a 4 night bed and breakfast stay at Hotel Holt. We were booked into a junior suite which was excellent, king size bed, extra living room and 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was plentiful with a lot of choices. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal, with only a short walk to the centre of Reykjavik and the...

We had a really enjoyable time at this hotel. Although the room was small, the bed was extremely comfortable and we had a lovely view. We loved looking at the art work in our room and in the public areas. The concierges were especially helpful as they helped us set up our day to day itinerary and then checked with...

Wonderful warm comfortable hotel, with original 1960s features and fittings. Very welcoming, and staff looked after us well. Superb breakfast. Located on a quiet street in old Reykjavik, very close to the lake. It's art collection is wonderful, as is the decor in general .. no Ikea style minimalism here ! Room was light and airy, with good facilities and...

We certainly picked well here. The Hotel was just a couple of minutes walk form the main rod that ahs bars shops and restaurants and less than 10 minutes walk of the harbour. So many other hotels seemed to be in outlying areas. The hotel is cosy and ahs a nice atmosphere. Room was not huge but was comfy clean...

This hotel is in a excellent location just a couple of minutes walk from the main streets and a 10 minute walk from the harbour. There is plenty of places to eat around the hotel and as two women travelling we felt completely safe in the area. The hotel staff were very friendly and the manager really went out of...

Every detail of my stay was handled with superior attention, care and a true desire to make sure the customer felt great, welcomed and enjoyed the great wonders Iceland has to offer. From extra towels and sheets for sensitive skin, emergency cab service and camera shop research since I had 50 minutes to find a replacement for my camera battery...
