The Hotel Holt is not much to look at from the outside but inside it’s loaded with the largest private art collection in Iceland. The hotel is located adjacent to embassy row one block from the German, UK and American embassies in a quiet residential area but within easy walking distance to shopping, bars and restaurants. The inside of the...

Within easy walk of the Harbour and major attractions. Staff very nice and all of course excellent English speakers. Reception helpful with ideas of where to eat etc. Breakfast nice and not crowded, and eveywhere clean and tidy. Excellent lift but stay away from the entrance side when inside as it's only 3 sided, not a problem but can catch...

We stayed at Hotel Holt for long weekend and it was a great boutique hotel in centre reykjavik. You dont need to bring any toiletries they have the all there. The rooms are basic but comfortable perfect for a weekend stay. Staff are very helpful especially in checking tours and speaking to people for you. Make sure you go to...

First trip to Iceland, and was looking forward to it. Read some good reviews of the hotel so this was encouraging. The hotel on arrival was a little moody. Low lighting in the lobby, but nice and peaceful. Area around it was a small residential road where there wasn't any noise really, so that was good and the walk down...

Front desk was extremely helpful with booking day tours, helping with changing itineraries, etc. Breakfast being included was a huge perk, as eating out was expensive in Iceland. Room was clean, and even on the 4th floor, I heard some road noise (what little there was at night). Not a problem for me at all, but if that would be...

I stayed here for two nights while visiting Reykjavik during March. The location is ideal - a quiet side street but just a few minutes walk from the Laugavegur shopping street and the Hallsgrimkirkja. All the tour minibuses collect from here. My room on the first floor was at the end of the corridor and overlooked the back of the...

Lovely hotel with countless artworks based around the hotel, stayed 4 nights in February, breakfasts were very good, quite a large selection to choose from. Staff were always friendly, helpful and spoke very good English. Housekeepers do a great job of keeping the place clean. In the bedrooms, we found the bed to be comfy, the heating to be very...

My first visit to Iceland. This place was recommend by my travel agent. The location is perfect. Some of the best restaurants are no more than a 10-12 min walk. Quite neighborhood and rooms, never heard my neighbors. We arrived earlier than expected and they accommodated us by allowing an early check in. The front desk was very helpful in...

Which is not simple with everyone wearing outdoor footwear due to the ice!! All Hotel stay where 1st Class and really helpful and even arranged...
