I was upgraded to a two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, sitting area and washer and dryer which came in handy. The room was located in the building behind the main building and very spacious and comfy. The staff: Bjarki, Kasia, Dilja, Cezary, Carlo, Osp, Arna, and the Manager Lara went above and beyond during my entire stay. They...

I feel like my obsessive scouring of internet reviews really paid off with this place. The hotel was was clean, homey and one street over from the main shopping street in Reykjavik. The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly and helpful (and guided us to a fantastic breakfast spot while we waited for our room to be ready)....

Our first time to Iceland and definitely not our last time. Reykjavik residence apartment hotel took great care of us. Very friendly people, we are vegetarians so they would fill up the B/F basket every morning with Fruits, bread, local yogurt......We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt......very clean place and very professional staff......would just stay there again and again.

Can't say enough good things. Great staff. Have a two bedroom apartment. Plenty of room. Nice sitting area, kitchen, 2 bedroom and bath. Very large bathroom. However shower only, no tub. A VERY large shower. Room came with coffee, tea, corn flakes, milk and juice. Breakfast basket available for a few. No freezer in room, but ice readily available. Perfect...

Our family stayed in Reykjavik Residence Hotel on May 22, 2016. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which was located in a separate building behind the hotel. The apartment-like setup was very comfortable: full kitchen for cooking, beautiful wooden kitchen table, new Ikea cabinets, a reading/sitting room stocked with books, extra large bathroom. It was 3 bedroom apartment: one...

The hotel staff were all highly professional and willing to help. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Modern functional Nordic lavs. Located in a historic building only a block from the main tourist street, many tourist food and bar choices. Easy walk to Harpa.

We actually didn't stay at Reykjavik Residences - due to an overbooking situation - however, the management of the hotel ensured we were taken care of, had a good place to stay, and we'll certainly look them up next time or recommend them, based on how they dealt with this situation.

My only disappointment. I wish I would have booked for a longer stay. The hotel booked our Golden Circle tour through Gateway tours an excellent choice. The Residence Hotel was formerly a doctors home way back when. Now the Residence 45 is just a lovely hotel. We were on the top floor a little struggle for my wife who doesn't...

The Reykjavik residence hotel is in a great position. Easy walking distance to everything but still quiet. We had a studio which meant there was a small kitchenette in the room. It was up some fairly steep stairs which some people may find challenging with luggage. My main reservation though was that our bathroom only had a bath with a...

The two apartments we rented for our family of 6 were the nicest we stayed in while in Iceland. Our 20-23 year old young ladies loved their apartment. Roomy, beautifully appointed. Modern appliances. Comfy beds. Parents studio apartment was very nice as well. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
