The place is really nice and cozy. The rooms are fine. The only thing to complain about was that they were redecorating some rooms and it was a little bit dirty because of the dust. And also they didn't offer breakfast. But the place is really nice and very quiet.

Two well equipped kitchen with expresso machines and free coffee, 3 dining rooms and a lounge with a large TV with local stations and Netflix. Located in a beutiful neighbourhood with a lot...

I would like to recommend everyone to stay away from this shonky and shabby guesthouse. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere! Due to some unforeseen circumstances we were compelled to stay at this guesthouse for the night. It was as dreadful as it could be. The owner was not interested in welcoming us at all and handed us the keys...

Great little place for what it is, I got exactly what I needed - a place to stay for a week in Reykjavik. Very clean and the owner takes care of any trouble making guests promptly. Don't expect common hotel amenities like a full size towel, transportation accommodations or a front desk receptionist - this is a journeyman's stop. If...

Our first impression was bad, walked in and there's literally junk everywhere. Looks like they have saved paper work for 40 years. In the middle of a "apparent" renovation there's clutter everywhere. When we got to our room the sheets looked to be used and the owner said no one slept there, but I demanded for sheets to be changed....

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here over new years. The place was out of the city but there were buses to use. The rooms were nice and we were able to come and go as we pleased. We stayed there over new years and it was one of the best! The hosts are FANTASTIC and provided fireworks and food. We...

As a four person party we rented two rooms. Rooms are nice and clean. So are the bathrooms. It is warm and the house has many social spaces to rest after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is located around 12 minutes out of the center by car. We rented a car and that was a very good and quite...

Myself and my boyfriend stayed for a week. Upon arrival the centre looked quirky and presentable on the inside, an interesting building, from the outside it is quite unkept and run down. There is no buffet breakfast as stated on booking.com the kitchen is badly kept, we did go shopping in the local supermarket so as to make our own...

On arrival, from the exterior, it was apparent that the place was in a poor state of repair. On entering fears were well founded..there were many aspects that caused concern. The odour of the manager's cigarettes wafted throughout the building. Temporary repairs had been effected as a bannister on the stairs. Plaster was falling off the walls. Electrical connections would...

We were greeted by Siggi the friendly manager and the initial impression was a very interesting building with plenty of space and books. I was not impressed when in my bedroom I could write my name in the dust, it was generally grubby and during the first night, I discovered the bed sheets had been used by the previous occupants....
