The location could not have been better and the guesthouse was spotless. Nice bathrooms although shared and comfortable beds. Full kitchen available to guests allowed us to save money by getting food from the nearby market. Quick and easy check in and check out no matter what hour and absolutely lovely hosts. Only downside is that for some reason you...

Just back from spending 4 nights at the Flying Viking Guesthouse in Reykjavik. The location could not be more perfect. The central and main shopping area is literally on the doorstep. It is more like a classier hostel than a gueshouse, with 5/6 rooms per floor and a bathroom on each floor. Our double room consisted of 2 single beds...

Lovely guesthouse, comfortable and cozy. I loved the kitchen/common area: clean, nice, you find all you need to cook your meal. We had a very pleasant stay. Recommended. There's no parking, however you can park right outside (street parking is free from 6 pm until 9 am)

Me and my boyfriend stayed here one night on our first night of being in Iceland and we were impressed! It's not luxury but it's pretty damn nice for guesthouse. The only issue was the noice coming from the road as it was frontwards facing, and the curtains weren't thick enough so it did let in the light. However when...

This place couldn't be nearer the city centre. It's in a great location. In the basement is a well equipped kitchen. Each floor has 5 or 6 rooms with one bathroom so we had to be patient from time to time. There's parking on the street outside which is free from 6pm to 9am then 150ikr per hour during the...

I've just stayed at the Flying Viking guest house for three nights. I'll try to be as informative here as possible. Rooms: I took a double room as a single occupant. I had two single beds that could be pushed together as one. The room was clean and warm and had its own sink with hot and cold running water....

The location is great, near the city, shopping center and just 10 mins walk to the bus terminal station. The room and bathroom are clean and staffs are friendly and helpful. The price is appropriate, wifi connection is strong, great choice for staying in Reykjavik if you are a traveler.

My husband, adult daughter and I stayed for five nights at the Flying Viking Guesthouse in Reykjavik. This guesthouse is in a great location! It is within walking distance of the National Museum of Iceland and many nice restaurants. Tour buses picked us up only one block away from our door. Our accommodations had a private entrance around the corner...
