Checkin was extremly dissapointing! Even after been told somebody would come on call, we had to find the main Hotel to do the payment, got a key and "help yourself!", all at 2am in the night! Cellar room with mold, tiny windows, broken light in shared bathroom with no hangers or anything to leave your stuff. No "wooden floor", "small...

Solo travelers beware this place could ruin your holiday. Yes it is well located but the plus side stops there. My cell consisted in a very uncomfortable bed a side table and a chair. No storage for clothes. No hooks for your towel (which you have to keep wet for the duration of your stay). It smelled atrocious and the...

Let's face it - unless you are from anywhere else in Scandinavia, Iceland is very expensive. Skolabru was the best we could afford and even then it was 3 times accommodation prices in UK So, how was it ? We are regular budget travellers and used to sharing facilities so it wasn't the surprise other reviewers have seemingly found it....

It's a big guesthouse in middle reykjavik. It's absolutely perfect located right in the center of this beautiful city. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, the shared bathrooms are also in a well quality. wifi everywhere. would come back.

A very plain room with a shared bathroom but with access to a kitchen with refrigerator, hot plate and dishes. Lots of good places to eat nearby. A good value for the money. Here's 25 more characters.

The guest house was clean, but that was about all. The room smelled funny, and everything was shabby. The bathroom--which was shared--was small and awkward. The shower was dreadful. We stayed two nights and had no maid service at all. The location wasn't bad, but I still wouldn't recommend it.

The price was right for two nights in downtown Reykjavik. Parking was a challenge. You are near the Parliament building and there were protests in April. We shared a bathroom which worked out well. It was across the hall. The hallway was noisy and our door squeaked. We could park the rental car close after 6 PM but you competed...

The location of this guest house is fantastic, you're so close to the center and yet far from the noise and the rush. The rooms are basic and clean, so are the toilets. Kitchen has a microwave, no stove, so that can be an inconvenience for some people, but we managed to survive with it. Our room had a window...

Stayed here with my boyfriend for his birthday for three days. It is right in the centre of Reykjavik, you have you ring a number on the door and someone will bring you your keys. We were shown inside and shown our room. It is clean and warm. Towels are provided. It's shared bathrooms, they're clean and we never had...
