The price point was the main reason we booked this spot. The hostel was very clean and they had access to a nice walk in fridge to store food. It is far from the city centre. The washrooms were problematic as they only had 2 working toilets. The showers were an exercise in masochism. If I come to Reyjkavik again...

Very clean, good bunks, easy to find, great wifi and storage area for food. Good kitchen. Not a thing wrong with this place. Best to have a car as its a ways from city centre. Prices are great. Helpful staff. A nice place to end our Iceland journey after camping for 2 weeks.

Stayed here the night prior to departing on a Ring Road drive, and again before departing Iceland. Small, but clean & modern rooms with very comfortable beds. Located in a residential neighborhood, though near a moderately busy road, about a 20-25 min. walk to downtown, just a short walk up to the Perlan ("Pearl," I think), which offers great views,...

The hotel is situated just off the main road from the airport to Reykjavik and about five mile outside the capitol, it is well maintained with a good support staff. Although mainly a B&B it also caters for evening meals which were well cooked. The hotel can assist patrons with going whale watching and other activities.

The place was the right place, clean, and in a decent location. The room was large, the beds were comfortable, the curtains were nice and dark, and the breakfast was tasty. However, the window opened up to a highway, and it was too hot to keep it closed all night. The traffic noise kept me from sleeping.

Nice place and probably the cheapest place to stay in Reykjavik (16€ for a dorm bed). A ten minutes walk from the Kringlan shopping center where buses from the airport stop and from where there is a free shuttle to the city center, though I preferred the 30 minutes walk. The hostel is not far from a beach at Nautholsvik...

Even though a tad bit far off and the fact that the bunk beds were very bad, my stay here was amazing! They provided alot of help service with my general stay in Iceland and gave me a really good start to the vacation.

There are two distinct impressions here: when I arrived in the very early morning yesterday just off my flight with nowhere else to go, the owner was brusque and obtuse, informing me that he had no place for me. It might have been nice had he said up front that I could of course have breakfast- he did eventually- for...

We stayed for 3 nights in February, always friendly and helpful at reception and in the dining area. Big clean rooms and decent shared bathrooms. Free continental breakfast included each morning with a great choice and decent coffee. Walk-able distance into town, a good half hour to forty minutes down the hill. The kitchen was a little out of shape...
