This place wasn't too expensive and was only a 15min or so walk to the main streets. However, it did feel a little depressing in the room, so I'm glad we only stayed one night. Also, because it was a small room with a kitchen are, it smelled quite strongly of cooked fish/fat. Other than that, it did the job,...

The apartments were comfortable, clean and it was bigger then I expected. Free wifi, heater, microwave and stove. They're self serviced so there's basically no contact with anyone from the hotel while you're there unless you ask for help. The only downside is the room I was in was really close to the lobby and I kept getting woken up...

Reykjavik is notoriously expensive so I opted for an apartment-style accommodation that included a kitchenette. I landed a ground-level unit with a double bed (read - two twins pressed together) with fresh linens, a barebones kitchenette, and a storage unit for out-of-hours nonsense (which is to be expected with a 6 am arrival). Pros - was way handier to 'downtown'...

I've never been to Reykjavik so I'm not sure I can adequately judge what is good value for money, being that it is an expensive city. However, there were a number of goods and bads, so if this in fact is a budget hotel, it is good value for money. If it is expensive, it is not. Positive: the apartments...

Dear Graham, Thank you for a detailed review of your stay. We are a self catering hotel therefore there is not a manned reception at any of our hotels. Although we are easily reachable by the phone in the lobby. You can also see on the information sheet in the apartment that if you need extra towels or pillows you...

I booked the "Budget Studio Apartment" for 3days, 5months before my travel to Reykjavik. The studio was in basement and the small windows touching the roof was open to the road. I couldn't breath properly as there was so much dust. we couldn't close those windows otherwise we would have died of suffocation and we couldn't live with them open...

We were in a studio apartment and it was very basic and very small. It had a kitchenette which we didn't need but we were trying to minimize some of our costs which is a difficult thing to do in Iceland. Check in was interesting... you get a door code to enter the building, a door code for a place...

Iceland is a pricey destination once again. Finding accommodations in the capital reason for a reasonable price is very difficult, unless you're eager to go the hostel route. These short-stay apartments were not too expensive, and the location is pretty convenient. Only a 10-minute walk down Laugarvegur and you're in the thick of all the downtown action. Also, just a...

We stayed for 6 nights in a 3-bedroom flat with our kids (7 and 5) and my parents. On the positive side, the flat is big with 3 separate bed rooms and a decently seized living area with an open kitchen. The Einholt apartments are also conveniently located, still in walking distance to the city center, and close to the...

The Stay Apartments, Einholt are very basic, no frills accommodations. We selected this hotel for our July 2016 holiday and stayed for 6 nights. Negatives - Lots of street noise in our 2nd floor room. In July the temperature wasn't cold enough to require heat in the apartment and the only option to keep the room cool was to have...

there are various apartments on Einholt street offered by Stay Apartments in Reykjavik. Best is 401 on the top floor, which has great kitchen, living area and also 2 bedrooms. Studios are interesting, but recently renovated and just great + reasonably priced to stay at Reykjavik.
