We booked a transfer from the airport with Flybus (they seemed to give a return ticket price which was much cheaper than the 2 singles the other company offered). The bus was just outside the airport building but check which company's bus you are getting on. Once in the bus terminal (about 45 minutes travel) you have to change to a...

The location of the Aurora, as other reviewers have commented, is excellent. It is near the city centre and is easily accessible and has ample free parking nearby. We were due to stay in a 4 bed room with a shared bathroom, however were upgraded to a studio apartment, just round the corner, which included an en suite bathroom and...

this place was perfect for me as i spent most of the time outside the city exploring Iceland. it was nice to get back in the evenings, leave the car next to the hotel and walk to town for drinks and dinner. breakfast was ok and i staff are quite friendly. dont expect a lot of comfort and you will...

Very basic room. Clean and tidy. There are no frills here. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. You can get drinks in reception. The bathroom light is on a timer so when your having a shower it goes off and you have to get out to open the door again. We were only there for 3 days and...

Stayed two nights with my child. The room was nice, beds were soft and comfy, breakfast great, staff helpfull and location excellent. Just what you need. We had a shared bathroom which was a bit inconvenient as so many guests shared it.

The guesthouse was well located in the city and parking was easy to find. The rooms were simple but clean. There was no soap or towels in the shower of the rooms with their own bathrooms. Breakfast was good, and coffee was excellent.

I spent my first night in Reykjavik here with two friends. Overall, I thought it was a fine place for a night but not where I would want to stay for an extended period of time. Pros: The location was extremely close to the church where our tour left the following morning. It was also convenient to walk around town....

I was staying here at the start of a 10 day group holiday with a well known adventure company on a trip around Iceland. I was staying in an annexe 2 mins across the road from the main house in a recently converted apartment. I shared the 1 combined shower/loo with 9 other people. Personally I do not think this...

This place was brilliant! Right in the center of the old town which was perfect for when we got back from our day tours and wanted to head out into town for something to eat. Literally a 2 min walk from one of the main streets. The breakfast in the morning is continental and plenty enough to fill you up...

Clean, small and in a great location, what more do you need from a budget hotel? The guesthouse is a thirty second walk from the famous church which you can see from all over the city so you can always find your way home. It is a 10 min walk into town, Harpa and the harbor, 8 mins from the...
