I spent my first night in Reykjavik here with two friends. Overall, I thought it was a fine place for a night but not where I would want to stay for an extended period of time. Pros: The location was extremely close to the church where our tour left the following morning. It was also convenient to walk around town....

I was staying here at the start of a 10 day group holiday with a well known adventure company on a trip around Iceland. I was staying in an annexe 2 mins across the road from the main house in a recently converted apartment. I shared the 1 combined shower/loo with 9 other people. Personally I do not think this...

This place was brilliant! Right in the center of the old town which was perfect for when we got back from our day tours and wanted to head out into town for something to eat. Literally a 2 min walk from one of the main streets. The breakfast in the morning is continental and plenty enough to fill you up...

Clean, small and in a great location, what more do you need from a budget hotel? The guesthouse is a thirty second walk from the famous church which you can see from all over the city so you can always find your way home. It is a 10 min walk into town, Harpa and the harbor, 8 mins from the...

It was a modest hotel but great for the price. Shared bathroom and the room was small, but if it's just for a single person this place is perfect. The breakfast was nice, freshly baked bread everyday and the coffee was fantastic.

....for one night the room so the proposal may be fine for an extended stay but the scope is not, customizable and becomes cramped, too essential. Arrived at night to plane delays, and brought to the hotel.... some time to find the room with the indications via intercom. With shared bathroom, blankets: there are no half measures; absence of dark...

I find this one very hard to rate. It's a clean guesthouse, very well located, right in the heart of Reykjavik, less than 5 minutes walk from all the shops and restaurants. 10 min walk from the Bus Station but if you book with RE, they also offer to pick you up from the Guesthouse which makes the location a...

It is located close to the centrum and the parking is free. The room was small and clean. We used the common kitchen as the food prices are quite high, soup is £5 and a hamburger is £12. We recommended it for couples, friends and for families

Aurora is just what you need in a hostel, clean, with comfy beds and well maintained shared bathrooms. I stayed with a work group and we had rooms in several buildings around the block. Breakfast was good, bread fresh from the oven with a selection of jams, spreads, meats and cheeses. They also have some cereal and fruit. Tea and...

Clean and comfortable, Bathrooms are also clean - although shared never had to wait in a queue and it was clean. Very much within walking distance of all local attractions. The excursions we booked through grayline also picked us from here. It was a family run guest house in a quiet location yet near to all the things you possibly...
