The hotel is nicely furnished and clean with stunning views and friendly staff (when you can find them), but there are a couple of odd things about this hotel. There are motion controlled timer switches for lights throughout the building; they come on when you approach them and then turn off after a set amount of time. Great for saving...

Cozy, warm, quiet room with an unbelievable view of the ocean (where we saw the northern lights from our bedroom window!) You really could not ask for more in a hotel. wonderful breakfast every morning without fail. The hotel is closer to the blue lagoon than being in Reykjavik. more natural wonders to be had close to keflavik than if...

Booked this hotel based on good reviews here. Great location, just few minutes from the Keflavik airport. We got a free pickup from the airport by the hotel. Staff was friendly and the receptionist did help us make reservations for dinner and activities in the area. Room was simple and clean. Hotel had all the amenities we needed. Would highly...

I have just stayed at Hotel Keilir for the 2nd time and both times I have been greeted by very friendly staff. The rooms are everything you would need and very clean. The breakfast is very good too. I will be staying here again in a few weeks. I highly recommend this hotel. Mark Andreas Jones.

We booked this hotel for the last night of our stay in Iceland because it is close to the airport and to the Blue Lagoon. We had no expectations but actually the hotel has great views over the sea and there are some lovely walks, much nicer than the harbour in rejykavik. We were also lucky enough to see the...

Since we hv a early flight and hv to return the rental car, so I booked this hotel with reasonable price. However, overall feeling is really just OK. May be this hotel located in countryside, the man not good in English. When we move at 4:30 am, the main door was locked. it make us very nervous. But lucky, the...

Stayed here with WOW layover, basic accommodations but VERY clean, lots of heat, hot water, small TV in room, excellent WIFI, clean linen. The young man at front desk was friendly, accommodating, and professional, even though he was the only one at the front desk and had to get a group of about 25 settled. He was quick and organized!...

WOW airlines kindly put us up in this lovely hotel, when our flight to the US was cancelled due to a storm. The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable and our host, Thorsteinn Ragnarsson, was very patient and accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to come back some day for a longer stay.

I've been there with my friends after a stressful situation with our flight in the airport. We've had to atari one more night in Iceland so we've made a last minute booking in Hotel Keilir and even after an unpleasant situation with our flight company, we've had a relaxing time here in this hotel. The staff was very helpful, the...
