We didn't stay in the Hotel part, but the Guest House which is way more basic and not really that nice. The free breakfast was nice tho. I didn't even take photos of the place (like we did on other places we visited in Europe), because it was not very special, so basic. But inexpensive for Iceland.

We had a deluxe double room. Room size adequate, bathroom very small. Bed was comfortable. Public areas nice with marble, clean. Guest room a little tired and slightly rough around the edges. Customer service offered by reception staff great. Assisted with any needs such as booking a very good tour with Travice for a Golden Circle tour with just three...

This review only applies to "The Topaz Suite," which I gather from the other reviews is quite different from the regular rooms (it was all that was left when we booked). The Topaz Suite was very, very comfortable-- and weird. PROS: -very close to the airport (KEF is 8-9 min. away) -comfortable bed -spacious room, with long sofa, table &...

Hotel Keflavík was very charming. We like the comfortable feel once you walk into the lobby. We requested early check in since our fight landed at 5am and our toddler needed to finish sleeping. We had an issue with early check in but was quickly resolved due to the great customer service. Our room was decent but it was small....

This is an exceptional four star hotel near Iceland's international airport in Keflavik. Friendly, polite staff, great breakfast with local tastes, really nice atmosphere and lots of extras like transfer to the airport, free coffee, gym and sauna. This hotel is a gem. Was really clean and cosy too. And with a great restaurant. Also at walking distance to Keflavik...

This hotel is great for an overnight stay as other members have stated but there's a lot of room for improvement and it seems as though they are actively working on things. About 7 minutes away from KEF so it's perfect for an overnight. I was a bit worried before I got there because I've read other reviews about overbooking...

We used Hotel Kevlavik for a base of operation for eastern Iceland. It's 5 minutes from the airport but away from the flight path. The staff is friendly, the beds were fine. We had some time at the end and spent an hour in Iceland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, nearby. Icelanders are actually very musical. The only drawback...

Loved the location (easy to find on smartphone), free parking, beds, pillows and comforters. Hi-tech room (B&0 speakers with high end TV). The bathroom shower was quite hi-tech too. The best part was the breakfast which per my family was one of the best they have had in a hotel. Highly recommend it!

Hotel is fine/good-- room was clean, style was retro but didnt seem overly dated, good location to airport, close to a bunch of restaurants in Keflavik. Hotel restaurant was expensive (even by crazy Iceland standards!), but we were able to get food and a drink in town. I accidentally booked the guest house (shared bathrooms!) when i first booked, but...

This was completely inconvenient for access to our room. We had to take an elevator up and walk down a long hallway then carry our luggage down a flight of stairs to get to our room. It should be noted that there was a door right there that was marked for emergency use only. When we inquired if there was...
