Me and my boyfriend booked this guesthouse for one night and we were glad to be gone! When we arrived there was no one there, only a buzzer on the wall which we had to call to speak to someone. There was also a sign saying breakfast inc, which we thought was great! The lady who owns it didn't pick...

We were doing a Ring Rd. trip and winging it much of the time but always trying to stay in guesthouses. Out of all the guesthouses around the country in this price range this was the most disappointing. The room was sparce, tight, slightly worn, but clean. House setup made for noise when folks were out and about. Only saving...

Nyibaer Guesthouse shares a parking lot with Humarhofnin, a very expensive restaurant that serves delicious langostines. With the money you'll save by staying in this clean, friendly guesthouse, you can afford to eat there or at one of the other restaurants nearby that the proprietor recommends. Nyibaer can accommodate 22 guests. There are 5 rooms upstairs which share a nice...

The room was clean and comfortable. The wifi is quick and reliable and there was also a tv in the room, not that we used it. Breakfast was good but similar to most guesthouses you'll stay in. The toilets are a bit unusual as there are unisex cubicles in the same room as the shower cubicles. They were clean and...

We stayed at the second floor in which there was only shared 1 bathroom and shower, but it seemed cleaner and more private than the ones on the first floor. The guesthouse is located right on the harbor and next to a restaurant. There was also a nice kitchenette and a basic breakfast.

The room was clean and host are ok. Otherwise the breakfast is a little bit short (no scrubble eggs per exemple) for the price. Very expensive for a room without bathroom. 30-40% off might be right. The guesthouse is well based in the city. Some gonds restaurants just around

This is a very comfortable guesthouse with a bright and welcoming breakfast room and fresh waffles at breakfast time. The beds are comfortable. The wifi is good. The location is great, near restaurants and the water.

for the cost but, that's quite typical for Iceland. Breakfast was the standard Icelandic buffet with some nice added touches like waffles and fresh fruit. Owner very friendly and helpful with recommendations.

The guesthouse had nice sized, comfortable rooms with shared baths but it was about $55 more per night than the other guesthouses we have stayed in the last 15 days. The breakfast was typical Icelandic guesthouse food: bread, ham, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, hard boiled egg, cold cereal, skyr, coffee and orange juice. The owner sat down with us for 45...

Lovely place smack dab in the middle of Hofn. A stone's throw away from the langoustine restaurants. Hostess open and friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast had waffles (always a winner). Only issue is that it's expensive for what it is- esp as you have to share bathrooms.
