Utterly friendly staff, brilliantly equipped and cleanest camping we encountered here in Iceland. Prices are comparable with the other campsites, but you get a lot of value for your Krona here. Whenever in Iceland, it is a must visit

The staff there is nice and friendly enough to show us the facility for the camper. Kitchen is located at the reception with cooking utensils. It only have 1 shower room with hot water. This hostel a bit far from the town.

We camped here 3 Nights and were really happy. The staff is very friendly and help you with everything. The kitchen can be used by everyone and is full of kitchen utensils! Try to stay here when you are next to Reykjavik!

We spent one night there before dropping off our camper. It is a good place to spend a first or a last night in Iceland. You are near the campers renting places (KuKu Campers, Go Campers), you can catch thé FlyBus at the Viking Hotel by walking to the Bus stop. Anyway, you are too far away to walk and...

A friend and I did the road trip along ring road. We were camping and checked out the campground right in Reykjavik, but it was very busy (holiday weekend plus summer solstice festival) and we decided to see what else was nearby. We were very pleased with this place.. In fact, we ended up staying a second night when we...

We spent the last night of this trip in this camping (it is a hostel but also have camping). Nice facilities, large place, good, clean and organized kitchen. Very close to Reikiavik and less crowded than the camping in Rekiavik.

You want to camp in a quiet friendly place in the capital area, then this is the place for you. Free wifi, great shower, clean toilets, kitchen. Great campsite that I surely always choose over Laugardalur in Reykjavík.

We had to come here when we couldn't find a spot in the campsite in Reykjavik. Boy, are we glad we did. This is a fantastic campsite. Because it's also a hostel, the facilities are more extensive than what you'd find in a regular campsite. The bathrooms that are for the campers were the cleanest we've seen in Iceland. You...

The dorm for 6 was taken up by our group. the room was fairly small even when compared to the fact that we had all just been camping for the past 11 days. but at the end of the day, a bed is a bed and we were all grateful for it. the staff at reception were all scouts and...
