This hotel was about a 5 minute walk into town on a fairly steep hill. It is located across the street from the geo-swimming pool. The front desk staff was very friendly and gave good suggestions. Rooms were small but adequate. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

This was the 3rd Icelandair Hotel we had stayed in and it was by far the most modern. Location is convenient by car, with car park. 15minute walk to city centre. Rooms were modern and nicely designed. I liked the small table overlying the bed - can do work or to eat. The only downside was the shower and bathroom...

We stayed for two nights and were fortunate enough to have a room facing the hills and ski slope - from which we even saw the northern lights as an encore after returning from a northern lights tour at 01.30. Restaurant food was good (as expensive as most of Iceland) as was service. A lovely place to stay.

What a lovely stay, we were near the ear the town and restaurants, the hotel was warm and inviting, the staff were efficient. The room was very comfortable and clean, the thermal outdoor pool was a few minutes walk away, it's great fun in the snow! This was our second trip to Iceland, we would go again! I would stay...

Great room, lovely decor, nice bar and restaurant in the lobby. L'occitaine soaps and shampoo in the shower. Flatscreen tv. We had dinner in the restaurant which was good. Friendly staff. I would stay here again.

I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel - friendly and helpful staff all round (front desk, breakfast, restaurant, housekeeping) who all tried to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Spacious and clean rooms. The walk into the city (downhill) and uphill return may be too much for some travellers but I thought it was a fairly...

What a lovely room (bit of a shame we felt about the basin being in the bedroom rather than in the en-suite). We loved the really comfy bed. Breakfast and dinner (for us not included) in the hotel restaurant were also superb. Our room had good views of the thermal pool (and the local maniacs therein) and it was a...

The hotel is nice, comfortable and warm. The food in the restaurant is good, as was the service. Generally very nice. One bad point is the arrangement of shelves over the bed which makes it difficult if not impossible to sit up in bed; a triumph of style over utility.

I love this hotel! I spent five days there in January and it was all totally amazing. The staff are really friendly and professional and extremely helpful. The room itself was beautiful, modern and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean upon arrival and the daily cleaning was remarkably thorough as well. I had a great view of the skiing mountain in...
