The man at reception seemed to be there for our entire stay. I'm not sure how he did it but every interaction with him was an absolute pleasure. He even apologized for the windy day. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

When we arrived we received a free upgrade from the small room we booked to a rather large room with a balcony which was GREAT. It gave us the most amazing view over the Fjord and we really did enjoy our 2 night stay. You get free coffe/ tea all day and the breakfast was very good as well. It´s... More

This guesthouse was great. It was clean, comfortable and a great value. It is situated on a beautiful farm property and was a great location for exploring Akureyri and the Myvatin area. The hot pot was great and they have a gym. The staff were amazing - super helpful and nice. A group of us waited up for the Northern... More

We arrived at the hotel tired, wet and very cold after a long journey. The owner was very nice and welcoming. He offered us to use the hot tub outside which was such a blessing. The location is beautiful, great view from the room. The owner even changed the category of the room when we got there - from small... More

This is a nice farm hotel - we booked way in advance so we had a spacious room with a giant bathroom. I think it was wheelchair accessible. Plenty of hot water and good pressure and soap/shampoo in the shower and at the sink. Also a blow dryer in the room. Bed was comfortable and everything clean. We were ground... More

Hotel is made up of several separate buildings. We stayed in the middle building behind the main and on the upper floor. Owner was welcoming and friendly. There is a small hot tub available. There were also parking spaces for tour buses so this place gets pretty busy. Hotel is located on Rte 1 and about 10 mins away from... More

People who complain about the (quite mild) farm smells need to realize they are staying in the countryside, on a farm! The views from here are expansive and lovely. Breakfast was good. The owner was pleasant and encouraged our teens to hike up the hill behind the hotel, even offering a map. However, the walls are thin, so if your... More

No idea how this place got 3 stars, aside from lovely views of the fjord it's a dump. A glorified hostel cheaply converted with walls so thin you can literally hear everything your neighbours are doing. Compounded by a total lack of consideration from the chambermaids who seem to deliberately slam doors to encourage you to get up and on... More

Very nice place with a superb view on the ocean. Best breakfast of our stay, very nice lobby, functional rooms with some equipments (hair dryer, towel dryer), pleasant and clean hot tub. Akureyri is 10/ 15 minutes by car. Very good value for money!

Hotel looks at the first moment relatively well from the outside. It is true that the view on the fyord is absolutely beautiful and could be said that almost irreplaceable. The rooms are also very nice, modern a quite new. Just the size of the room was very uncomfortable... Since the room was very small we didn't had even much... More
