I was in a nostalogy-trip with my family in Nauvo. I recalled the hotel Strandbo as a cosy, family-owned place with good service. Not much of it was left and I heard from local people that the hotel had recently been sold to risk capitalists. I do not know if that explains the poor service level where when asking for... More

The location just opposite the marina is very convenient, and strolling around this small village is really charming. However the rooms are very basic and the bathrooms look very old and dirty. They really need to renovate them. Breakfast buffet is very limited, just a few options to choose from. Location might justify the visit...

Then salmon soup where salmon had to be searched.. archipelago bread with soup was excellent thou. But then we got a wrong side dish and there was a mistake in the check..... More

We had a family lunch at this hotel's restaurant, it was a sunny day so we opted to sit outside on the terrace. There was only 1 menu which was posted on a notice board outside the terrace in the road. You have to decide what you want then go to the bar to order, the waitresses don't come to... More

We had a nice evening in the Turku archipelago, visiting Nagu Rock. Stayed at this cosy hotel for the night. Check in was smooth as was also our check out. We had dinner in their restaurant, good services and friendly staff. Breakfast was more or less traditional Finnish hotel breakfast, nothing special.

We came to Nauvo village by ferry and the hotel is conveniently just next to the ferry harbour and the marina. The surroundings of the hotel is peaceful and all the services of the village (rastaurants, shops, ATM) are within a short walking distance). Staff was friendly. However, considering the price of our room, it was really small. It was... More

We stayed here, again, since we wanted to visit the lovely village of Nagu/Nauvo, and could not find (think of) any other place to stay, as we were almost on our way for an impromptu weekend trip. Safe choice this one. Except that the room (or suite as they have named it) was in dire need for renovation. The place... More

Very small hotel located in Nauvo harbour. Location is the best of the village. Rooms are very small, but if you stay few nights, it is ok, because there is lot of public areas (in/out) where you can stay. Outside hotel is Nauvo harbour and lot of restaurants & cafes, also small shops. In hotel is WLAN and it works... More

Hotel Strandbo is located at a very (summer) busy marina, on the island of Nagu. The hotel provides good quality accommodation in its main building and an annex a few steps away. The annex rooms were modern and clean. The breakfast buffet, served at the hotel restaurant Fyren, was plentiful and particularly tasty. The offering was well replenished by the... More
