Please avoid this Hotel. It is not renovated as they say in the web site. Or if it is renovated it must have happened at least 30 years ago. I booked suite with sauna and balcony. I off course thought that there would have been a working tv also. Boy was I wrong... I complained for the TV and got... More

We stayed one night here because of flights from Helsinki to access Vaasa ... Friendly staff and lots of activities for the middle of the week (Karaoke, Dancing and people watching). Rooms have saunas and were pretty insulated from activities in the bar and restaurant areas. Great breakfast buffet that was included.

Seurahuone Kokkola has an excellent location in the small town Kokkola, it is in the very center of the town. Free parking in front of the hotel. Seurahuone has in a way tempting, old fashioned looks outside. When you enter the hotel, you can feel the stuffiness. The rooms are also old fashioned, the price was not. The hotel has... More

Fully booked in the larger hotel in town, would never have consider it, but will probably choose it next time in Kokkola. Very good restaurant, both food and service. Very good value. Sure, the elevator is old style and corridors are not like at the Hilton. But room generally, bathroom standard and beds where top standard. I had a very... More

Depends on your view. Some would say the place has old country charm. It certainly shows its over 100 year age. Corridors dingy and decrepit. Classical European micro-elevator. Includes breakfast and good quality wifi. No A/C. Tub drains onto bathroom floor. Big mess. VERY thin and sparse curtains. This is a problem when it's light at 4 AM. Restaurant closed... More

Stayed here one night since Sokos and Best Western were booked full. Why is it that Kokkola is always booked full and yet the place is completely dead? The downstairs is rather uninviting. Old and dated looking furnishing, a couple of bars at the reception area, looks unkempt. Fairly nice service though. The restaurant was alright, I guess, but the... More

I stayed here 3 days, hotel is quite old, its barely 3 stars, You have strange stairs going to the floors, and there is one elevator which You have to wait for a long time. In room You don't have a phone?!?! This is the first time I experience this. And, there was some Karaoke party by the loby one... More

We stayed here for two nights, Friday to Sunday. The room was quite nice considering that this is apparently one of the oldest hotels in the country. Clean, nice furnishings and comfortable beds. However, there are several bars on the lower floors of the place. The noise/music from the night club could be heard clearly on the 5th floor, and... More

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. To sum it up: If this is the best hotel Kokkola has to offer, I won't stay in Kokkola again... The rooms are ok with comfortable beds and otherwise quite clean. There is no aircondition, though. And this being a hot August weekend, the windows had to be kept open. The problem is... More
