Have just been on a business trip to Helsinki and stayed at the GLO. When I arrived the clerk at the front dest told me that they had put me in a nice big room on the 7th Floor. The room was indeed quite big and quite to my satisfaction. Searching for the gym, I found that this was on...

My first visit to Helsinki and very glad I booked at Hotel Glo Kluuvi. Not luxury but very very comfortable so would say good value. Location couldn't have been more convenient. Tourist, shopping. and food destinations all very accessible! Room was spacious and well appointed. Staff at desk and restaurants spoke perfect English and very accommodating. Will definitely recommend to...

Friendly staff, nice room and location, ordinary food. I would book here again. It was nice sitting on the street and enjoying a beer and pizza, but menu wasn't very good and neither was the pizza. My colleague's Ceasar salad was devoid of any character and very 'suburban'. A 15min walk to the Sea Horse restaurant is worth the effort.

Central and a little bit funky. A few nice touches like a toy tiger on the bed who became a good friend but not good enough to pay the 30 Euro to take him home with us. Mini bar items at the higher end of quality, room service extra charge for delivery was quite steep at 12 Euro but food...

I loved staying here -- the room (a superior one) was spacious and very modern. The hotel itself is very central, and with many shops around it. Nonetheless, the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was good -- lots of fresh fruit and good breads. The personnel at the bar was very friendly -- try the drink with licorice in vodka....

I stayed at the Glo for four nights this week, and found the room to be wonderfully comfortable. The curtains were properly "blackout" curtains, and the bed and pillows just heavenly. For a jet-lagged Australian, it was perfect. The room was a "box within a box", with the bathroom compromising of two sliding frosted glass doors to separate it from...

The hotel is located in the middle of the center, still you dont get noise from the street - Helsinki is a quite town after all. The breakfast is same, same for all the weeks I stayed there. Not a single tiny variation. Not perfectly true, sometimes you get not freshly cut vegetables. Get a sharp knife for the rolls...

This hotel is very central for viewing the city and the rooms are lovely. There is a spa which is quite small but still luxurious. Entrance to the spa is not included in the room rate but the additional cost is reasonable. The breakfast is lovely and includes salmon, cheese, fruit, breads etc. The breakfast room is a pleasant restaurant...

As always I selected my hotel based off the useful reviews here on Tripadvisor. Again those reviews read proved to be very accurate and helped ensure a good choice! GLO hotel Kluuvi is located venally and is within a walk of most things downtown. I was in town for the Ice Hockey world champs, and the walk to the central...
