It was a coincidence that I ended up at this hostel. I had booked an apartment much more expensive on my arrival and was disappointed. I had to find another one in less than one hour. It was the best decision I've made. It is a very well organized place where one can cook and meet people from different background...

I stayed in one of the dorms for one night. The bed and the room was okay. The linen was included in the price. I got a locker and the lock (using card) for putting my stuff for free. The shower room, however, was too small for me. The kitchen, dining room and living room were alright and quite spacious....

Not the best hostel, but a basic 'budget' option in Helsinki. The double rooms are pretty nice and not expensive. The shared facilities and common areas are okay, however not really clean and a bit boring (especially the living room). The staff isn't very friendly and not willing to offer service or help. There is no breakfast, but on the...

Cheap sleep for an expensive city! We all know that Helsinki it is not cheap, therefore making a comparison, this hostel offers a quite good accommodation in the city. The hostel itself is nice, welcoming and comfortable. I had a huge room, perhaps more or less 20 people were sleeping, furnished with new furniture and despite the number was well...

One of the most awful places you could go to! THERE WASN'T ANY INFO POSTED ANYWHERE TO INFORM THAT THIS IS ACTUALLY A REFUGEE CAMP! The place is 99.9% packed with horny refugees that will stare at you like you're a piece of meat. I was terrified every time I went to the bathroom, and I didn't use the showers!...

First thing it is not near the center of the city. you have to change two buses before you reach the rail station. The management is not up to the mark. They do not supervise the guests' moving about. no cleanliness is insisted in the kitchen. Everyone just cooks the food and leaves it either on the tables or in...

It was functional as far as hostels go. Wasn't overly expensive and not all that far from downtown. However, there really wasn't much room in the dorms themselves. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting. I don't know if they'd been cleaned yet that month. You really do get what you pay for here.

Stayed in a large dorm room. Bed was ok and had a plug socket and light. Showers were not so good, no individual locked cubicles, just a row with curtains and a few hooks for clothes. Kitchen was small and there was a distinct lack of washing up and cleaning.

Cheapsleep is, in all fairness, a very accurate name. It's cheap and you might get some sleep. Positives: plug sockets and personal lights by every bed. Wifi that works constantly. Easy enough get to/from by public transport. Negatives: The staff are not helpful at all, they have a script that they say to people when they come in and that's...
