We stayed here for two nights with our 4 year old son. The breakfast buffet was great, with a wide variety of healthy options. It even had soft boiled eggs and a choice of bread so our son could have eggs and soldiers. The breakfast area has recently been renovated and is quite lovely. We found the staff friendly and helpful...

The hotel was under renovation and very few things worked as it should, and besides that the hotel really needed a renovation very worn , but besides that I got a good room but with a lot of noise and lights from the streets outside the railway station..

I booked Hotel Seurahuone for my Nordic Travel trade trip. As a hotelier myself I like to experience and compare different hotels in different countries/ cities. Hotel website is nicely done and that is very misleading, hotel is nothing like the website. Very centrally located but that is the only benefit. No room service, no bar or restaurant closed due...

I expected much less from this hotel that is not part of a very big and esteemed chain. Although the beautiful building is old and the decoration is not the most recent, it has a friendly and welcoming charm. The location is excellent opposite to the railway station, Sokos, Elielinaukio, Forum and the Finnair city bus. And the woman who...

A comfortable, well appointed hotel conveniently located opposite the railway station and close enough to the city centre to sightsee it all. The excellent value airport bus terminus is next to the station as an extra bonus. The hotel has a very attractive old world look internally and the excellent breakfast is taken in a splendid ballroom! The staff are...

One of Hotel Seurahuone's key advantage is its location. The Central Station is just across the road, tram stop just in front and the airport bus stand is 4 mins' walk. And Helsinki's main attractions and shopping areas are within walking distance. The hotel is retro/classic in style, stately and majestic settings mainly in black & gold. Breakfast is plentiful...

The hotel is located in a very good location, almost in front of the train station and walking distance to the harbor and the fancy Esplanade street. The hotel is very old but not in a bad way... it reminds you of luxury and ball rooms. The bar is nice and the breakfast is very good. The bedrooms are confortable,...

There is no shortage of hotels in Helsinki, and anything will be efficiently run, clean and triple-glazed. But there is a lot of pretty characterless stuff out there, which is why the Seurahuone is worth considering if you like a bit of style and character. The hotel was used in the early 20th century as a meeting place for musicians...

Excellent hotel bang in the middle of Helsinki's busy bits. Olde worlde charm with all mod cons. Hustle and bustle outside but quiet on the inside. Very good food and service. Good views out over the Art Deco train terminus (worth a visit in itself). Cold outside but hotel always warm. Ideal place to stay if you want to be...
