The hotel is quiet, central and affordable, with friendly and helpful staff (who were tolerant of my appalling Finnish), and the breakfast was plentiful, with good coffee. The room was small but cosy and homely. A place with real character to which I would not...More
I recommand the two-hours foot tours in historic Helsinki with expert guide Gayle McKeen from Chicago, organised by the Museum of Finnish Architecture, Kasarmikatu 24 (very close to Anna hotel). One is an Historic Tour and the other, Ullanlinna tour presents the superb Jugend Styl...More

To get from the airport to Helsinki city we used train transportation. That goes smooth. It took us about twenty minutes to walk to the hotel (but we got a bit lost, so probably can take less). At the end of our trip, we used a shuttle bus to get back to the airport. You can make a reservation at the hotel. Early in the morning it takes the minibus about half an hour to get to the airport. I do not exactly remember how much it did cost, but it was not very expensive.
