We stayed at the Lapland Hotels Bulevardi for a short weekend break in December 2024 and from the moment we entered we could tell that this hotel was something special. The decor was lovely, and there was a really cosy feeling to the place.
The receptionist was warm and welcoming, in fact every member of staff that we spoke to were, and we were quickly and efficiently checked in to our room.
The room itself was gorgeous. It was spacious, immaculately clean and we liked the dimmable lights and the extremely comfortable beds - perfect to relax into after a day of exploring. Our room also included a sauna and this was such a luxury and really made this experience memorable. The hotel was modern, spotlessly clean and excellently maintained.
Breakfast was included in the price of the room, and considering how delicious the breakfast was, with a wide range of traditional food, this was astonishing.
We'd also like to say a special thank you to the lady at the reception on 9th December 2024 when we checked out who was kind enough to give our little girl a lovely activity book and colouring pencils. That was really nice and a reflection of just how lovely the staff here are.
We'd definitely stay here again if we visit Helsinki in the future, and would recommend Lapland Hotels Bulevardi to anyone visiting. It's hard to imagine any other hotel matching this.

Great location albeit not right in the very centre of Helsinki but just south/south-west of the centre. Great transport links as choice of two tram stops outside. 10-15 min walk in to centre. 15-20 min walk to the train station. Or 2 mins on the frequent trams ( 1T,6 and 3) As public transport in Helsinki is so cheap,extensive & reliable this matters. Also well located for the ferry (West Terminal 2 or 1) for the day trip to Tallinn,Estonia. Can buy travel tickets for trams & trains via the excellent HSL app or via hotel reception. Prices are the same. The hotel has a lovely warm & cosy feel throughout decorated in warm brown or earthy colours. All staff very smiley and very helpful. We went with the Artic room. Spacious and very comfortable. One of the best most comfortable beds we have ever slept in with the most pillowy cloud like pillows! Although street facing (front of hotel) the double glazing is excellent. The bathroom was essentially brand new or felt that way! Incredibly clean. The rainfall shower excellent. The doors to the rooms open outwards in to the corridor. (A scandi thing). Also our room had no chest of drawers which was odd. I did query this at reception but that must be a Finnish thing. Breakfast had an extensive choice and plenty of seating. On our 1 day trip to Tallinn,Estonia as we were leaving early morning to catch the ferry, the staff prepared a nice pack lunch for us. Plenty of bars and restaurants literally seconds from the front door also.

Hotel very well located and yet very quiet. It has a somewhat unique room layout, with a window, the small one, which can be open. In the room we stayed in, Artic de Luxe, the bathroom is separated from the rest only by a transparent glass (with a fabric curtain). The staff is professional and friendly. And the breakfast is acceptable although in the viennoiserie part, well below average for hotels in other European countries of that price.
As buts I would only highlight that the bathroom lights switches are near the basins and not next to it’s door, which is not very convenient. And also that soundproofing could be improved.
The main small astonishment after a very pleasant stay was that the fixed price of the cab to the airport offered by the hotel is higher than the one of several city cab companies (the price of a taxi fare in Helsinki is not uniform: each company charges what he wants as long as tariffs are show in the window opposite to the driver seat).

This hotel was truly one of the best hotels in the world we have ever stayed in. Appearance, cleanliness, design, speaceiousness of the room were just impeccable. The breakfast was terrific - such a large selection to choose from and very high end quality of products. The location of the hotel is perfect - it's right in the centre of Helsinki and everything can be reached on foot or via tram (the stop is just outside the hotel). The whole staff of the hotel has been extremely nice, helpful and welcoming - when stepping into the hotel, we immediately felt at home. Thank you so so much for this experience! If we ever come to Helsinki again, we will definitely stay at Lapland Hotel Boulevardi again.

This was a very nice hotel! Our room was spacious with comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and water pressure in the shower, and at least a partial wall for controlling the water from splashing around the bathroom floor from the shower. There are plenty of outlets with some right next to the beds. The staff was very friendly. The bar area was quite nice. My biggest complaint about this property is that breakfast does not start until 8AM! All the other hotels we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Scandinavia started breakfast around 6:30. If you have an early flight or are taking the ferry to Tallinn, then you will miss out on the breakfast. I think I paid extra for this, so not unhappy about that. But they have a lot of really cute touches like reindeer all over the place, a couple of souvenirs that you can purchase in your room, and even fur hides on the backs of chairs in the bar and at the outside seating area. Really liked this hotel!

Lovely hotel in an inner city location a little out of the tourist centre. The Lapland theme may be a little overdone for some tastes and the room AC was a little anaemic in the mid 20's Celsius temperatures.
We selected a Suite for the extra space and comfort - expensive however worth it for us.
Breakfast was calm, Scandi focused and enjoyable. The staff were professional and lovely.
The location is a bit (>1 kilometre) out of the centre, however a calm, tree lined, tram served street was ideal for us.

I spent Christmas Eve here and absolutely loved it! The Northern mystique vibe of the place was so unique and beautifully done it really added to the festive feel. I was especially captivated by the Sami music playing as I entered my room it was such a unique and thoughtful touch. The art throughout the hotel, particularly the hanging ceramic pieces, really stood out and added so much character. The breakfast was amazing with lots of delicious options, including plenty for vegans, which was a big plus. The location is fantastic too so close to all the main attractions, which made exploring super easy. Everything just felt so cozy and special. Can’t wait to come back!

Very comfortable rooms and beds, Nice noninclusive background music in the room and in the bathroom, rich, and nice scented toaleters, great breakfast with selection of crossover between Scandinavian cuisine and British breakfast. What else would you g to start a great day if a business trip or a family vacation. A tram stop in front of the hotel, five minute walk to the metro station, and quick arriving Uber make it a great location a few blocks away from the busy town center.

Lapland Hotels Bulevardi is absolutely my place to stay in Helsinki. I’ve stayed here multiple times since April 2022, either on my own or when traveling with my mom and my next 2 stays are already booked.
The hotel is a top notch luxury hotel, but it gives off a totally different vibe than most luxury hotels. The lobby is very cosy, with many chairs and sofas, offering the chance to relax with a lovely drink from the bar. I’ve got some friends in Helsinki and the hotel bar is a perfect place to catch up in a calm setting. This home-y atmosphere is something I really appreciate about Lapland Hotel and it’s a pleasure returning time after time.
They have quite a few different room times. I’ve stayed in the Northern Comfort (the most basic room type) and Deluxe rooms with sauna. All rooms are clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The private sauna that comes with certain room types is a big pro and one of the (many) reasons that makes me pick this hotel.
The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are kind, helpful and welcoming. Really appreciated how the front desk arranged us a diner reservation in the hotel restaurant Kulta, with a fully vegan menu.
The breakfast is great. They also offer options for vegans and other diets, clearly labeling the products at the buffet.
Overall just a wonderful place to stay during my trips and I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who is looking for a nice hotel in Helsinki.
