Nice cottage accommodation with beautiful scenery around, although shopping for food is not convenient and one may have to visit the neighbour hotel for a good meal in a decent resturant. Believe one has to buy enough food inside for barbecue before moving in. Once arrived, the facility is sufficient for catering. Walking around the lake side is also enjoyable and it is only 7 mins walk to Serena Water Park.
{+}: Views down unto lush, green boreal woods. Perfectly clean air & water quality. Lots of nature trails surrounding the grounds- converted to cross country skiing, in season. {-}: The sleeping quarters do not match the advertised description. The ads promise a "villa" & a "cottage". According to both wikipedia & my experience; those terms denote a FREE-STANDING edifice. These are attatched loft units. Villa denotes grand size & luxury. These accomodations have neither. The promised "fully-equipped kitchen" turned out to be a tiny, run-down kitchenette. No mention at all is given to Sun Cottages being directly under the flight path of jetliners flying in & out of the nearby international airport. While there is space to squeeze in a full family; it is nowhere near the height of luxury. The price alone, suggests much higher quality rooming. The bathroom shower has no curtain or enclosure; thus floods the entire bathroom upon use. The small sauna is nice to look at- not simple to use. Seeing a roach crawling on the cheap linoleum floors- was not pleasant.…
