Hi. I must admit that I can't remember was there a kettle in our dog friendly room. Normally allmost every finnish standard hotelroom includes water boiler and two cups, little bit tee/coffee, sugar and so on. I suggest to ask from the reception for that or could they possible have spare one.
In Finland it is the same 220-240V/50Hz. But in UK the plug/socket is type G when Finnish is C, E and F. (Two round dots side by side in the very middle) Same as in Germany and other Nordic countries. I tried to paste the wikipedia URL here but it did not work :)
