We went on a three day husky safari, in a group of four + the guide/owner, staying two nights in a cabin away from the main guesthouse. Everyone was really friendly and communicative at the main guesthouse, but the guide/owner who took us out on the husky trip, was not. I'm unsure if it was due to different expectations of...

A friendly, warm and well equipped guesthouse. The house was build by woods, once you step inside it, you can smell the nice smell of it. There are double windows so you would not feel the cold from outside. The room temperature are just perfect, not too hot or cold. Breakfast was great. You can cook your own lunch or...

Magical place. The surroundings, home cooked food and warm welcome from all the staff was a wonderful experience. I loved the four hour Husky Safari ( special lunch in the forest). Imagine gliding over a frozen river and then veering through a Birch forest and glimpsing a herd of reindeer. Picture a brilliant blue sky and you have it! Caught...

We stayed here from March 7-14, 2017. While it is not a five star hotel by city standards, it is a great place. We love dogs so being on the premises with 150 huskies was great for us. We went on the 3 day dog mushing trip which I reviewed separately. One of the nice things here for dog lovers...

As part of a 6 night winter activities holiday in Lapland, did a full day husky safari with Guesthouse Husky. It was truly amazing. I am petite and weigh 45kg, so was a little concerned that I would not be able to handle my dog sled as these dogs are so strong! But after a few minutes, I quickly got...

i did a multiple day husky safari with guesthouse husky. it was pretty full-on - not for the faint-hearted as you are exposed to the elements for hours at a time on the sleds, and use muscles you never knew you had, all while wearing enough cold weather gear that makes you think you are moon-walking. you need to pull...

Wonderful place. Well kept. The staff here speaks English. They were very helpful. They tell you what you are eating and most of them were home made. They try to help you with a many things as possible. There is a kitchen that is also clean and quite well equipped with pots, bowls and other utensils. That is a big...

Selecting the right city and accommodation for our trip to Lapland took me quite some time. It should be remote to get a good feel of Lapland but not to remote because it is nice to sometimes have a dinner outside your hotel. So the town of Saariselka was too much of a resort town and Nellim was too remote....

Just left the guesthouse this morning, so sad.... Very welcoming people, the staff, the volunteers, guides, and al the 150 dogs. Stayed here for 3 nights and sadly enough only the 2,5 hr tour was available. But: we enjoyed it and definately will be back for a 2 or 3 days tour. Very nice and clean rooms and good beds....

Other than the northern light, I think it is nice for dog lovers with Husky as companion and home made breakfast for the stay while we were in Ivalo. The staff was nice and friendly to introduce us all possible activities when snow is covered all outer area. I would recommend travellers with a car so that they can easily...
