For visiting concerts in Scandinavium or Liseberg this hotel has a perfect location. Shoppingarea 15 minutes walk from the hotel. If you don`t want to walk, you can take the tube. The elevator was small....so we walk the stairs instead! Good service from the friendly staff in the reception, both day and night :) Nice and clean rooms. Some rooms...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Onyxen Hotel. The service was excellent and the staff were all so friendly. It is an old hotel with a small lobby but the room we stayed in was large and comfortable with a sofa, armchairs, coffee table and a chandelier! It didn't have all of the modern supplies that come with most...

Having given up on the large central hotels in Gothenburg (too expensive/difficult to accomodate a family of 5!) we found the Hotel Onyxen where we stayed for a week (while I was on a business trip). Really friendly staff and the kids enjoyed their stay where we all shared a large open room with lots of daylight. Breakfast was good...

Stayed here for one night in feb-13. We were driving and it was really hard to find the hotel by car. Once we found it, we made a wrong turn and had to drive a long round to enter again. We decided to park in the hotel. 3 small parkingspaces in the backyard for 170 skr. The staff were really...

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend. The staff were really friendly and helpful, from suggesting restaurants to small talk when handing in the key for the evening. We got a twin room on the 4th floor, it was clean but it could use some new wall color and the bathroom was quite old. The breakfast/bar lounge is better, it...

Cheap and small hotel, close to Liseberg amusementpark. Free HighSpeed Internet. Small breakfast, and snack in the evening. Verry small elevator, fits only one person with baggage. The rooms are nice, but if you order a single room, you have to be prepared to stay in a verry small room. The double rooms are large. TV has 6 swedish channels...

was sent to this fine place through info booth near train station - most friendly people who were also very helpful - was having difficulty getting to Volvo visitors center (and adjusting to Swedish directions) - always made to feel welcome - made my trip a pleasure. Service very good and prices reasonable (especially considering service) - might add a...

My husband and I stayed at the hotel in November 2005. We only got a single room with an extra sofabed, but we were very satisfied. The hotel is a converted apartmenthouse in walking distance from most of the attractions in Gothenburg. A small reception and a breakfast room. Only a few parking places. Small, but nice room with a...
