We spent one night here, travelling on holiday. We were given a warm and very courteous welcome on arrival and were able to negotiate a parking space in the small hotel car park. Our corner room was very spacious, with a small balcony overlooking the river and elegant, tasteful decor. Wifi access worked fairly well on the corridor side of...

I used to stay here regularly when my company had its office on Bangaardsgatan but in recent years have been staying elsewhere. Not a great deal has changed in the years since I've been here but the horribly heavy keys have been replaced with key cards. Great! The rooms are nice enough but would really benefit from air conditioning as...

This hotel is an old establishment with the elegance that comes with that. Its location is central, along the river. The parking is not very convenient however and the extreme heat and lack of air conditioning was a bit punishing. Breakfast was fine and the staff was great as has been our experience throughout Scandinavia. We would stay again...hopefully when...

Nice cosy room clean and all you could want. Breakfast first class and great variety to choose from. Staff really nice and helpful. All this despite the bar being closed for renovations at the time. Would use again

Beautful old building in a nice area, but not very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and no place to put any of your own amenities - they ended up on the floor. Not a single plug either in the bathroom, or anywhere near a mirror. Where do they expect you to plug in a hairdryer? And no plugs anywhere near...

Stunning building by the side of a river in the old capital of Sweden. Clasical style and comfort, large rooms, very clean, attentive and co-operative staff. One of the finest breakfast buffets I have ever seen, including a juicer for your own fresh orange juice (something I have bever seen before). Beware the expense of Sweden!

Great hotel in great location. Two super rooms - parents with very nice shower, girls with slightly bigger bathroom with bath. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. We enjoyed our all too brief stay enormously.

The hotel is a quick walk from the train station, on the Fryson. Has an old world feel. Check in was quick. The room is of fair size. Had a view out onto the river and cathedral spires. The bathroom was a bit tight. The shower area is only partially closed off, so water spills over into the sink and...

Delightful charming boutique hotel in the centre of the historic university city of Uppsala. Hotel is a quick seven minutes’ walk from the railway station and adjacent to the river Fyrisån. The exterior and interior are classic – use the staircase at least once to appreciate the stone steps. The bedrooms are not spacious, if you want space stay in...
