Stayed for 1 night. Excellent customer service! Thanks John! Food was lovely too. We stayed in Room 2, comfortable beds, lovely big bathroom. Lighting could be improved especially when trying to do makeup 😉

What an awesome pub! There was a little waiting but I'd rather that the mass produced food, and as the food was good, it was worth it! Service was grand, food was lovely and the pub is amazing. We're only here for a week but I think we'll be back before we go! Thank you

We tried the lion inn at Clifton upon teme on the spur of the moment for Sunday lunch, wow brilliant we all had the mushroom soup to start which was very good, 3 of us then had the roast beef and 1 had the roast chicken, the value for the money was great there was a choice of 5 veg...

We visited here last weekend upon a recommendation from a nearby glamping site. We were not disappointed. We were met by Jon (the Manager) who gave us such a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble for him. I had a gluten free request and he ensured that everything was perfect for us. He gave our girls colouring paper...

A great little pub with a lovely atmosphere. Good food and service too. Fish and chips and steak offer was great, making it a great find with a groupon deal. Nice to go to a small local pub and have it full with people. Def will return with friends and family again very soon.

We spent a lovely evening and had dinner for 2 at this cute traditional pub. Lovely friendly staff that cant do enough for you, good food and beer, definately worth a visit to the only pub in this stunning village.

Stayed 2 nights here on a trip down memory lane, and chose to stay at the pub because it was the best local option. In fact it exceeded expectations, not least because of the food which was a cut above the normal pub fare, imaginative and well prepared. The room was a bit quirky, but hey it's a pretty old...

This was a second visit for myself and first for my family . Excellent food. Four of us had the Sunday roast with veg (which was plentiful) and one had the pasta bake which was a huge portion. As we had just finished a long walk, we all had three courses. I can personally recommend the chicken pate, roast beef...

We had the tapas for lunch which was on a groupon deal. The chef certainly knows what he is doing. The whitebait were the best we have eaten for a long time. I am vegetarian and enjoyed my selection of patatas bravas, huevas and my husband really enjoyed the pork cooked with honey mustard! We will be returning.

The food is really good, and a very reasonable price. The staff are really friendly, and the restaurant itself is a lovely place to be. The village that its in is lovely to have a walk around later. :)
