Convenient location close to the motorway with secure underground parking. The rooms were clean but disappointed with no tea making facilities or water in the room. I would recommend for a short business trip but would avoid for holidays / sightseeing as the location is not close to the city centre.

so, in stockholm, everything, i mean EVERYTHING will sound very expensive! and, buy that, the hotel prices in the historical center scared me and i end up pincking this amazing hotel in far away lands. WELL, i not mean very far, but, its like 3 stops from the center and 10 minutes walking. for me, after spending a whole day...

while one is always appreciative of somewhere cheap to stay in Stockholm, the Norrtull has something of the air of a youth hostel, with a snazzed up lobby then the rest left pretty grotty (My room didn't have a door frame for some reason). Staff at the desk were nice but when I especially asked for a quiet room as...

It is rare that I write a savage review - but .... I arrived at the hotel exhausted - I had flown to London on the red-eye to find that I needed to make a short notice business trip to Stockholm. My priority was a light dinner and a bed. I checked and received my room key - on going...

We found this hotel more than adequate for the price paid and three star rating it holds. We stayed for four nights. Some reviewers on here seem to expect more than they are paying for. The staff were without fail polite and helpful, especially when we were using online airport check in - the staff let us use their own...

I stayed here on business for 5 days. At check-in, I was greeted by an extremely rude and indifferent male staff whose name started with A. The room was adequate however the floor was gritty and the windows dirty. There was no tea or coffee making facilities neither a hair dryer. When I enquired about how to get around Stockholm,...

Stayed here for 2 nights on business this week and very dissapointed. Rooms are very basic and in dire need of refurbishment, especially the bathrooms which smell of drains and have no shelves or spce to put things - other than on the dirty floor! Staff range from very nice and charming to extremely rude and un helpful. It was...

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.

“We booked a room for 3 people (2 adults+1 child) and found out in the hotel that there is no spare bed for the child and if we wanted one it would cost 300kr per night. The good thing was that we got to change our room to one with "king size" bed (which actually was pretty much just a normal doublebed). The hotel is big and complex and we clearly stayed in the "old side". The room was pretty small, the toilet floor was absolutely filthy, there was no soap (got more when we left the bottle wide open) and there were towels for only two people. We had to ask one set more every day although there was cleaning in our room (the cleaners obviously didn't bring us three towels although they clead out three...?). ”
