Booked a two single beds room, but got a Plus room i gues, it was roomy and had a flatscreen TVset, DVD player (free DVDs in lobby), shaver, touthbrush, ironingboard, robes, cofee and tee, hairdryer, free Wii-fi. Beds very comfy. Only negatives were a dirty coffeecup and the lack of a safetybox. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The...

Stayed for 3 nights for a special long weekend. Had booked a double/twin room and arrived to find we'd been given a third bed in a double room; barely enough space to walk around. Asked immediately for a change of room/removal of the third bed and nothing happened for the duration. The room was well appointed and bathroom great but...

We syated two nights at this hotel. We choosed it becuase it was close to Wasa Museum, Gröna Lund amusement park and the Skansen Zoo. We had booked Double room. + Room quality was ok. Not too big, not too small. - The beds felt small. The "double" was two single 90cm beds pushed together to form a double bed....

After trouble at check-in and small room, be aware that the curtains don't cover windows and are very thin. Rooms facing the sun will mean little sleep, we had about 5 hours and then the sun lights up the room. Breakfast is adequate, but not 4 star.

I stayed here in a mini-double for a couple of nights in mid-December 2008. The room was good for me as a single. However, if you are a couple the room would be on the small side (book a bigger double if you are a couple). It was with Stockholm standards relatively cheap. The hotel is nicely decorated, in a...

The Karlaplan had a good location. The directions to get the hotel were a little confusing, but once located is near enough to the metro station and a pretty area of town. The hotel itself was very clean with friendly staff. However there were some things missing, such as they do not exchange foreign monies at the hotel. The room...

Basically the hotel confirmation informed us we were staying at "Clarion Hotel Stockholm, Ringvaegen 98." Having walked all the way to this address we were then told we were at the wrong hotel, despite the confirmation which clearly stated otherwise. We were actually supposed to be at this hotel - Clarion Karlaplan - which was on the other side of...

i spent three nights in karlaplan. the pictures of the hotel were very impressive and the location seemed ok, so i decided to book it. well, unfortunately it was not the best one. it was trendy, fashionable etc. for the first sight, but not for the second... the room wasn't clean enough and the furnitures were very used. the stuff...

We originally planned to stay here for 4 nights - we’re glad we didn’t. We spent one overpriced night at this hotel and felt that was enough. Whilst I’ve stayed in worse hotels, this hotel doesn’t offer value for money - it is not a cheap hotel, and certainly not worthy of 4 stars. The rooms are small, the furniture...
