The trip started with a crook taxi driver who took me 130 Euros for the transfer from the airport. First time in Stockholm, arrived at night, hoping in a good taxi service... The hotel was already closed, check in ends at 19, they let me code and keys, so the arrival was not the best. The next morning I saw...

As soon as you got your key of your room and one knows all the procedures and rules to get in and out of the hotel it is OK. So if you want to be able to contact a receptionist 24 hours a day, don't book this hotel. Breakfast is in a nice diner room and good. The rooms could...

Good breakfast, two buildings with a small open atrium between worked relaxing. Nice overall atmosphere. Our room in 1st floor was roomy with two big windows. Good central location near a big nice park.

Basic and clean hotel. Does what it says on the tin. Well located and quiet. Would stay here again. Breakfast is basic but enough. If you have a disability or don't enjoy walking up a huge amount of steps then would specify this. We stayed on the third floor, with no lift, so remembering to take your sunglasses that you've...

Not worth the price at all! Terrible hotell! Pls do not book it. We could not get into the hotel, when we got back in the evening. BOTH nights that we stayed there. One evening we had to wait for 45 minutes, before another guest came out and let us in. We called the number to call, but no one...

If you're looking for a budget accommodation in Stockholm but not in a hostel, this one is for you. Facilities are rather old. Breakfast was ok. Good location - close to the city centre. Minus: reception opened only until 6-7 pm.

We were in this because we needed some place to sleep and it had to be fixed in few hours. Acceptable price for Stockholm, last minute check in for 2 adults and 1 child. Comfortable room with comfortable beds. Clean also. Third floor without lift. Free WiFi but no signal in our room. Average breakfast, tasty but nothing special. Nothing...

Stayed here to attend a wedding in Stockholm. The room was pretty straightforward, with ensuite bathroom, tv and a large window. It seems quite rare to find hotel rooms in Stockholm that have both ensuite and window! All was clean. Basic but all perfectly adequate. Breakfast was nice - a basic Swedish spread of bread, crispbreads, cheese, hard boiled eggs....

I spent two nights at the hotel and can best describe the experience as adequate. The hotel is close to downtown and grocery stores, but lacks typical amenities. My room was small and was close to a door to the courtyard, so somewhat noisy. The breakfast in the morning was ok, but nothing special. The availability of staff, or lack...

A small hotel situated close to shopping and restaurants - 200 meter walk and your on the top of Drottninggatan. Good standard on rooms and toilet. Good service level on staff. Basic breakfast. All in all good value for the money.

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
