We had a working event at this hotel with a puzzle solving prison theme event. The event was actually really funny for everyone.
The hotel is kind of average even if we had quite a lot of fun. Great outside restaurant, especially when it is...More

I´am glad to read that you had a good conference here at Långholmen with a good dose of prison feeling with the activity and the overnight stay in a cell. Welcome back!
For an old prison it was very cosy, little bit spooky and claustrophobic at times but very enjoyable stay. Its on a small island itself which is a lovely walk and easily commutable to anywhere, the museum in the hotel has short opening times though...More

Didn't know what to expect but turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable 2-night stopover. It even has a small museum!
The room, formerly a cell, was well appointed and very clean although the beds weren't the most comfortable I have ever experienced.
If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll
find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
