I stayed a few nights here from mid week over the weekend and enjoyed relaxing walks in the nearby park. The hotel is situated a bit odd in between a lake/ park and the motorway gate to Stockholm. I slept well in a quiet safe surrounding. Hotel was clean and comfortable with nice rooms. Hotel staff where friendly and helpful....

I've been there in April for 2 nights. Was booking due to my usual place was unavailable. This is 30 min walk from city center. I am impressed by the place atmosphere and combination of old and modern in one place. Lake, park, terrace, rabbits and good restaurant is finishing the impression

I stayed here for the first time having normally stayed at one of my favourite hotels on other travels. I was very pleasantly surprised. It is a very nice place and great environment. If you are an SPG higher level then don't really expect any special treatment though. The restaurant is excellent and a great place to relax after work.

We went for a romantic night away. The hotel is on the one side very close to the road (which we unfortunately had view towards) and on the other side towards a lovely lake. We had a very nice dinner at the hotel on Friday night and we're almost alone in the dining room. Walking to town from the hotel...

This was a real nice find. The hotel interior is very classy and Scandinavian. Very central, a short 10 minute walk to the nearest train station. The staff were very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Worth a visit but don't be put off by the roadworks outside. Went for a long weekend with my girlfriend. 10-15 min walk from Odenplan underground station (best way to get around). Walking to the entrance we were slightly concerned as it's right on a busy road intersection and lots of construction going on. Once inside however it's cosy, relaxed...

1) Not child friendly 2) in the middle of some heavy construction zone .. new buildings and highways being build next to your window ... work begins early 3) surrounded by massiv LA style highways and overpasses 3) no gym or pool on the premises Avoid Avoid

At first, the reviews I read at multiple social media sites won me over, although I was sceptical as it is not in the city centre. However, by looking at the pictures, the hotel looks stunning, elegant, with a beautiful lake and garden.. BUT in winter, the thick snow ruins the beautiful, peaceful scenery as shown on the official hotel...

Very comfortable and homely, historic hotel situated alongside a beautiful lake in Stockholm, not far from main city attractions. I am a regular visitor being office-based nearby, and always choose this hotel over others. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the food delicious - but I've noticed the menu seldom changes! The rooms are comfortable enough and are well...

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
