Friendly and helpful staff, good rooms, nice breakfast and food available all day at no extra costs, which is very kind. Localization is excellent. The only downside are the shared bathrooms, but for the rate it's totally fair.

This is a small, boutique hotel with approx 17 rooms. It's accessed via the first floor of an unassuming apartment building in a vibrant area of Sodermalm, just to the south of the city centre. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk, and there is easy access to the metro. The hotel is pleasant....

I've stayed in hotels all over the world, at every price point, and the welcome I received at Hornsgatan is among the best. Smiling faces, genuine care, lots of time spent orienting you to the city, every question answered, choices of rooms presented, free coffee and tea throughout the day. Room itself also had a very warm, inviting feeling, with...

We are so pleased that we stayed here. Our room was lovely, with alot of old world character. Clara and the rest of the team could not have been more helpful. They have thought of everything - the takeaway coffee cups, if you want to grab a drink on the way out, to the umbrellas by the door, if the...

Lovely hotel and staff. Coped well without ensuite, could have perhaps had larger towels but I would definitely stay here again. You can use the facilities in the breakfast room including tea and coffee, microwave and the fridge. Within walking distance of all the key places or transport system. It was an easy journey-on the coach from the airport and...

It is 00:00 and my wife and I are sitting in our room awake listening to a group of teenagers drink outside our window while their smoke drifts into our room. Just over two hours ago we informed the staff about the problem and were informed they will be gone by 11:00, conveniently just after the staff knock off. We...

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. We stayed for 4 nights so we received a fairly spacious room. There were 5 bathrooms available to us and all were clean. The breakfast was traditional Swedish fare and very good. The food was fresh and Clara was extremely...

This was a great surprise in Stockholm. We stayed for 3 nights in the quad room which will sleep 4 and the room was great. The room/bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was good and they even provided a breakfast bag for the day we left early to catch a plain. The hotel is convenient to Gamla Stan and is...

We have just returned from an excellent all round trip to Stockholm, made all the better for staying is this fabulous hotel. From the start we meet a lovely, warm and helpful lady who allowed us to check in early and refresh ourselves, whilst giving us 20 minutes of her time to help us locate ourselves and show us her...

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighbourhood Profile
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
