Ideal for a romantic weekend. My room had high ceilings and traditional decor. Great location and amazing views. Free wifi and all the mod cons, plus decent toiletries, and a good breakfast. Pay for the nicest room you can - the single rooms look tiny!

The Hotel was in a great location. The room was a good size and quiet with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, though the seating space was limited. The staff was very friendly. We had no complaints.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in the Esplanade Hotel September 2016.The hotel is well located right on the harbour and within easy reach of most of Stockholme"s attractions. It has an old world charm with great breakfasts a good residents lounge that looks over the harbour and very helpful staff who even posted my left behind shirts to...

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The first night the room was not good however. We were in a very small room on a low floor and were kept awake most of the night due to the street noise. We complained the following morning and they moved us to a much bigger room at the back of the hotel away from...

Hotel Esplanade has an old victorian look about it. Internally the hallway is long and historically red. Lovely leather furniture in the reading room with a cute little balcony. The lady was warm and welcoming at check-in. The morning breakfast is a must. A great variety of home made food that is filling and will get you through a busy...

This hotel is in a great location and overlooks the water. Reasonably easy to get to from airport - took Arlanda Express train into Stockholm and then just one stop on the metro - short walk from there. Staff are very friendly and we received a warm welcome. They all spoke excellent English. My room was on the first floor...

having been here last year to attend the Stockholm halfmarathon, we booked the room again one year ahead. And we loved it again: The old house in very good shape, the majestic sea view, the ships nearby, the city and the old town gamla stan only a short walk away, as was start and finish of the halfmarathon. The rooms...

We stayed 2 times one night in hotel Esplanade during the same week and had the opportunity to see two different rooms. Both were spacious and we had no trouble fitting in with one extra bed and one baby cot. I liked the Art Deco details around the hotel, but to me the overall look was a bit shabby (clean...

No elevator. Bathroom small. Furniture in the room not uniform and looking old. Room service only starting 7:30am. Otherwise it is fine. The room was clean, and a good night sleep was possible. That's it.

My stay here was unplanned, as I finished the Fjallraven Classic and was able to return to Stockholm a night earlier than I anticipated; however, it was a pleasant one night stay! Bed was comfortable, covers were warm (I'm from Arizona, so, to me, even summer temperatures in Stockholm feel cold :)), shower was warm, blow dryer was quick, breakfast...
