In the pros side it has a kitchen with everything you could need that you could use it for free! This is something very good because prices if you want to eat in Sweden are really expensive! Also it has some computers with internet that you could use also for free. Moreover,it offers breakfast included in the price that is something very rare...

+: location, common areas and many showers -: extremely hot rooms w no windows or aircon. Our rooms were located in the basement right next to the female wc and showers (nr 10), which meant that every 2 min (litterally) someone would slam the door to the wc. Didnt sleep at all. Also the 2nd night we slept w the...

Good points: - Plenty of hot water in the showers - Modern feel, good decor - Clean, spacious kitchen - Fantastic location - Free Wi-Fi Bad points: - Limited kitchen hours (closed 10pm to 7am - more likely 7:30am) - Bathroom cleanliness is hit and miss - Freezing cold rooms (in June) - No real socialising space, no sofas or...

Nice place with good design, modest breakfasts and lack of windows in the rooms. Even though, we very very satisfied with doubles and wi-fi works great

This hostel is clean, modern, the staff are friendly. The breakfast is great. The only downside is the lack of bathrooms and the walls are very very thin, so fingers crossed you dont have a noisey neighbour! Overall a nice place to stay.

We stayed in a double room for a few nights - it seemed to be the only affordable and clean choice with a private room that we could find. But, with no windows in our room, it felt really small, and the ceiling's really low. It was also in the summer and got unbelievably stuffy in there, since there was...

We booked a twin room. The beds were really nice and comfortable. The room was clean and nice. The room didn't have any window but we were aware of that when we booked, so it didn't really bother us. And there was a fan in the room so it was alright. The toilets weren't that clean, which is probably the...

Due to a late change in plans i had to find someplace to stay. Mosebacke was the only available option with a decent price but I wish I had stayed somewhere else. Small rooms without windows. An A/C-system that was very weak, bad sound insulation and a breakfast that left quite a bit to wish for. As the previous poster...

We stayed in a doublebed-room, including breakfast (kosts 40 kr. if you book only a bed). The room was small, but nice and clean. The beds were nice and soft. There was no window in the room, which made it a little bit claustofobic. There is WiFi in the hotel, but no computer, so bring your laptop if you want...

Staying in Slussen

Neighbourhood Profile
Slussen
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision and cosy historical Swedish brick houses, Slussen has become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance. Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping street, Götgatan, attract both locals and tourists with Sweden’s most fashion-forward clothing retailers, hipster coffee shops and restaurants. Once the lights are out, the area turns into a bustling nightlife haven, catering to all preferences, from posh hotel bars to sweaty underground nightclubs. There is no better place to experience the clash between old and new Sweden.
