Breakfast on the Sunday morning was amazing and the buffet spread was really really good. The kitchen was available for use too. The room I stayed in was a bit warm as there were no windows but there was a ventilation vent. The shared bathroom was a bit exposed in my opinion as only a few had shower curtain. The...

Stayed here for four nights in Late June, 2016; More of a 2 and 3/4 star rating - could be better if they made some small improvements as outlined below. Our family had two rooms; one with shower (upstairs, room 33) and one downstairs, community shower/bathroom, room 18. My brother had room downstairs with no bathroom too. Cons: -Door would...

Location was perfect for me, 15 mins walk from the main tourist sights. Room was basic but clean and had everything i needed and shared bathroom/showers where to a good standard. Breakfast i thought was really good with a wide selection on offer and was refreshed. For the price paid, worth every penny.

Fab hostel in a central part of Stockholm. £25 per night for a clean private windowless room with breakfast & shared bathroom is a bargain in a capital city. Only reason why this isn't a 5 star review is the lack of soap & handtowels/dryer in the shared bathroom.

A nice place and the location is perfect. It is situated in the center of Sødermalm, the most interesting place in Stockholm. Perfect for wandering around and checking out cool cafes, stores and restuarant. It is also very close to the subway. We stayed in a room without a window and we did not mind that. The rooms were clean,...

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 night's and we were unsure at first but it was the cheapest so we went for it. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind, all spoke English. Kitchen area was good, everyone had access to it but everyone was kind and talkative, met some lovely people. Even though the room had no windows...

We visited the hostel during the past summer. For a beginning we were told that there was no reservation we had made. Then it came clearer that a reservation for us was missing due to being canceled. Then suddenly we were informed that an email with that cancelation was sent to us to inform us about the canceled reservation. Following...

We stayed here for 1 night in June and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and relatively spacious for a hostel. Its a good location to walk into the centre of Stockholm and not on a particularly busy road although there is no parking. I would not recommend the shared bathrooms, not particularly clean and luckily my parents were...

Staying in Slussen

Neighbourhood Profile
Slussen
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision and cosy historical Swedish brick houses, Slussen has become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance. Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping street, Götgatan, attract both locals and tourists with Sweden’s most fashion-forward clothing retailers, hipster coffee shops and restaurants. Once the lights are out, the area turns into a bustling nightlife haven, catering to all preferences, from posh hotel bars to sweaty underground nightclubs. There is no better place to experience the clash between old and new Sweden.
