We stayed in hotel micro for 3 nights. Great location, very close to Gamla stan, many buzzing streets with shops, restaurants, cafes and King's garden for ice skating! Vasa museum and Abba museum etc were a fair walk but still accessible on foot. Short walk to central train station. Rooms are small and windowless as expected, bathrooms are shared but...

I had an excellent experience with this hotel. Let's be clear, there are no bells and whistles as the bathrooms are shared and the rooms have no windows. However, I had an excellent stay there nonetheless. The rooms are very quiet and clean, and the beds are very comfortable, making for a nice environment for sleep and relaxation (the darkness...

Located in the basement of a three star hotel, the entire aesthetic is reminiscent of a fallout shelter, a comfortable one I should add, in all fairness. Relevant things to mention would be that the rooms are small as the name would suggest, but the design of the rooms make use of what little space there is, so just be...

My partner and I stayed here for two nights. We were coming to Stockholm to see the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and to do some sightseeing! We used the hotel for our showers and sleeping and we're up very early to go exploring! The shower areas are kept very clean and the bedrooms too. They are very snug so if...

The Hotel Micro is in the basement, with another hotel above ground level. Thus the rooms have no natural light and are a little stuffy. That said it is very central, the bed was very comfortable and whilst the room was small it was adequate for my needs. The bathroom was cleaned regularly. The hotel is very secure requiring key...

We stayed for 2 nights. The location is very good, walked to city center, close to central station. The Wi-Fi speed is fast, and shared computer is convenience. They provided free power adaptor. The room is too small for family trip, no any extras space for the kids.

The perfect place for one or two nights in Stockholm. The hotel is situated in a good location, from here you can make trips to the city. My room was clean and quiet, nothing bothered me at night. The rooms are very small, but the name of the hotel is clearly talking about it ;) The bathrooms were clean, the...

We stayed here for 1 night. The room is so small you nealry can't leave the luggage inside. No windows. Of course not bathroom. But the rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Is a good option for the money if you only want to sleep. The bathrooms and showers are clean and not very crowded. Not a place to stay...

Only a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. Close for central station, bus station etc We had the triple room with the double bed & single bunk above and I had the best sleep I've had in ages on the top bunk (I think the lack of natural lighting helped as the room was completely dark when lights off). Shared...

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
