We are the only hotel located inside a real authentic Boeing 747, Jumbojet. The aircraft was first flewn in 1976. Last journey was from Dublin to Stockholm in 2002. We have a nice wing walk / terrasse on the left wing, perfect for plane spotting. Our bar and cafe are open for everyone all days in the week.

This place is great. It's a 747 at the end of the day. My friend and I stayed here purely for the novelty value and in that regard it didn't disappoint. Located right on the airport and only a short free bus ride away, it's easily accessible. The interior is amazing and it was quite an experience, however the rooms are absolutely tiny. If you aren't well acquainted with your guest, maybe get 2 rooms! The bathrooms and showers are all shared, as it is a hostel. They are clean(ish), if you excuse the previous users body hair in the shower and wet floor, but at the end of the day, what do you expect from a shared bathroom? It's all self check i,n but I did come across the owner walking about in the evening who took time out of his day to chat to me and if I needed anything to call him. Very nice! There isn't anywhere nearby to eat, so bring your own food or eat at the airport. The breakfast was what I'd expect for a hotel, but certainly nothing to shout about. The outdoor wing terrace is very cool and walking around the outside is an experience too. Value for money is not very good I'd say. I think they can charge what they want because people will pay it to stay here, but you could probably get a much nicer hotel room for the same price. Overall, it's great fun! I am glad I stayed and would recommend any av-geek to stay too, but only for one night. If I was back in Stockholm, I wouldn't stay again, unless it was purely for the novelty factor.

I booked this as part of. larger trip and love staying in unique places. As far as unique goes this gets 5 stars. I booked the cockpit and was surprised to know that the entire upper level was mine. Being able to walk out on the wing of a plane is also cool. The bed was comfy as well. The reason I gave it only three stars is due to the amenities. It took 2.5 hours and an angry phone call that I had to pay for to contact reception. In the meantime I had to use my data to get communication. If a site is not going to have on site representation they should join 2022 and at least be on whatsapp or have their own app to reach someone. Another guests and I were talking about how we kept being told to " call the number" despite repeatedly stating we did not buy a specific Swedish sim card. There is also no elevator as advertised. I was lucky there was someone there to carry them up to the cockpit, but in the am the cleaning person was too busy to help. They advertise a cafe, but don't be fooled. Eat at the airport before heading there as there are only a few beverages to buy. The breakfast may have been gone by the time I went down at 9am for all that was there was some bread, jam and a few questionable cold cuts. This is a far cry from a cafe....unless they were trying to be in theme of airplane food which is minimal at best. On my way out another guest also commented that he thought it was a horrible hotel. The bus ride is efficient, and the experience unique and that is the selling point. In the end, sure stay here, but just be aware of what you get and what is on paper only.

Had a lovely stay at Jumbo Stay. We stayed in the cockpit suite and it was awesome! We had the whole upper level to ourselves. One bedroom with a tv, one bathroom and a first class lounge with a tv and airplane chairs. A big thanks to Ameer who was very kind and helpful.

This you don't get everywhere! Sleeping in a proper bed, having a shower and a decent breakfast in an airplane! This junbo-jet hostel is close by the rental car return. So ideal if you have an early flight to catch with the free shuttle bus to the terminal. It is the cheapest accommodation on the airport, but realise that it is a hostel, so you'll have shared bathrooms. Those are very well maintained though and spotlessly clean. The owner/manager? is very friendly and willing to explain about the history of this Clipper Jumbo. You can even have a room in one of the four engines, amazing!

This is a fantastic and unique place to stay at Arlanda Airport. It's an easy bus ride to/from the terminals via one of the parking buses which conveniently stops on the road right outside. The staff are very accommodating and extremely knowledgable about the aircraft and its history. Small selection of souvenirs on sale if you want a memento of your stay in a jumbo jet. Room was very comfortable and had tv, with bathrooms and showers located just down the hallway. Breakfast was included and they were also happy to allow me to keep luggage in the room beyond the official check out time, which was a very kind and helpful gesture. Would definitely recommend a stay here to anyone, but especially if you're an avgeek or enthusiastic traveller. You'll love it!

I'd always said this was a place I needed to visit some day, and the chance (excuse?) came up, so I grabbed it! The Jumbo Stay is so unique and a bit quirky at the same time... It's certainly worth a visit.. I stayed two nights in the "Black Box Suite'" which is a large double bedded unit with private bathroom, situated directly below the tail fin - nicely appointed, comfortable, with a large Smart TV to keep you entertained... Some great photo opportunities of course and the ability to sit at a picnic table on the 747's wing adds to the experience. Transfers from Arlanda Airport T5 could not be easier - every 20 mins by the free P2 Parking bus which drops you off at the footpath up to the huge 747... It really is an experience. Lovely staff, always cheerful and wanting to help, some basic offerings in the café, which is in the nose of the 747 and a few souvenirs available to buy... If you're an AvGeek or just like something a bit different, I'd definitely recommend at least a one night stay here, you won't be disappointed...

Me and some colleagues came to visit the hotel and have a few drinks back in March. The lady on reception was so friendly and took a real interest on us when we came. She showed us round vacant rooms and had some lovely conversationS with us. She spoke amazing English and we were very grateful for her. The bar area in the nose of the aircraft was nice to socialise and have a few drinks. Even if you’re not a hotel resident I’d recommend a visit.

I stayed here in June 2019 Very clean and tidy, please take your shoes off before going to the reception. It's a Swedish thing. The staff are very pleasant and the breakfast was satisfactory. I stayed in the room with a photo of the aircraft when it was owned by Garuda Airlines (Indonesia)

Ideal for affordable stay near the airport. Free shuttle bus to terminal worked well. Facilities were basic as expected. Couldn't imagine staying more than 1 night but certainly a unique experience. Fulfilled expectations but didn't exceed them.

I got there until 1 am more or less, it was dark outside but after hopping off a bus, I was incredibly welcomed by one of the most hosts/ hotel staff I’ve ever met: a Pakistani globetrotter, I forgot your name sorry (I’m writing this 5 months later..) but I want to thank you very much for the help, you showed me around the hotel/hostel even though it was late at night and made me feel safe and sound. You also showed me where the bus stop that takes directly to the airport is, took pictures and let me switch my room. I recommend highly this place for a unique experience, felt like travelling to the future movies, it’s also very practical for people who have early flights. The shuttle bus is frequent and only takes 15 min to drive you to the airport. I recommend ! #MoroccanSoloTraveller
