I cannot review the hotel, but I’ve visited the restaurant at lunch time for many years now, both in a professional capacity and with family, and the food is excellent. Traditional Swedish food with a twist, and lovely staff and a chatty chef.

The Teleborgs castle is a wonderful place to stay. The combination of "being in the middle ages" and modern times is just great. The booking process by email was flawless. On arrival, I got the choice between a room in one of the other buildings or at the castle. I choose the brewery building because it had a private bathroom....

Georgous work of stone. Romantic surrounding. Haven't been inside but really charming castle. Next time I will book a room. The park close to the castle is little. The castle is close to the university(interesting architecture). Calm place for people who want relax and walk in nature.

I book this castle for a birthday weekend getaway! To try something a lil´different from typical hotel stay! our room was in the attic - a reasonable space! Its clean and we sleep very well. We share bathroom with other guest! I feel like having an overnight stay in my great grandma house! Old furniture, lots of painting, high ceiling,...

Stayed one night at this amazing castle that looks like it was taken from a fairy tale. The hotel has kept the feeling of the old castle and it was fun to just walk around and explore the castle. The surrounding area has some lakes with walking paths to go around. Very nice area. There was a wedding going on...

We were looking for an unusual place for a Day-conference. Inspiring, good service and attentive personnel. Guess the age of the Castle. Don't miss out on the fika-cookies. Close to the city centre but taxi or car is needed. Parking can be crowded in high-season. Highly recommended!

I stayed 5 days.I was like a fairy tale.. Gloomy atmosphere. Feeling like Dracula. In the middle of a green area and by the lake.It was very quite.Breakfast was wonderful. If u like horror movies you will adore this castle. There is generally noone but ghosts. :) My favourite hotel in the world.

Castle is beautiful. It is right on Linneaus University campus and a short easy bus ride from town. Went there for lunch and a private tour. Lunch was $25 dollars for a salad, coffee, dessert and a huge portion of pork, mushrooms and potatoes. Tour was free and private. We saw some of the hotel rooms. Rooms were beautiful. (Hotel...

“Make sure you get a room in the main building (the castle).”
  • Small and a bit old, but still nice. Free to use.

“This is an old castle, so all rooms are different, mostly big. The castle is located next to the University, but on a hill surronded by trees, so there is no disturbance from the University area.”
